We have a cabin in the mountains. When we close it up for the winter, the water has to be turned off to prevent the pipes from freezing. It required getting down on my knees (@ 78!) with a vice grip tool trying to turn off the valve! I ran into the guy from the water company, and he laughed at my story and told me about this tool. It works great. No getting on my hands and knees any longer.

A very simple tool that did its job. The length was enough to prevent getting on my knees fiddling with a wrench, avoid getting tangled in webs, and prevent accidentally touching or getting attacked from other creepy crawly unknowns after opening the access cover. I wasn’t sure what the cross thing was for. But could be useful to throw at a snake if one popped out.

For what this is it is nearly perfect. I hope I never have to use it. Knowing I have it, though, is priceless. Everyone who owns a home should have a curb key.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Not sure if I will ever use the 4 way key as I’m not sure about its functionality.

This one was disappointingly lightweight and didn't realize how short this is for reaching the valve. Probably worth spending a bit more for better quality, but I was stuck with budget issues.
