Terrific Makita quality
These are sharp and effective and nicely made, at least for my household use. Yes, drill bits wear out and it can be time to change them even if they seem to still cut holes. I compared drilling through wood with my old Ryobi drill set and these were ridiculously more effective.

Good, as long as you don't abuse them
They are hex shank for an impact driver, but that does not mean they are "impact rated".All of the smaller sizes are two-piece, a drill bit brazed into a hex shank. If you abuse these, they will break at the connection between the two pieces. Do not listen to these other reviews saying they break. These people are ABUSING these bits, waggling them around at max speed in an impact, probably drilling deep full depth holes, hammering them with the impact like a twisted chisel. The impact hammer should never engage with these if you're using them right. If the impact is actually impacting, rather than just spinning like a drill, SLOW DOWN.These are for CONVENIENCE & LIGHTENING YOUR PACK, so you can carry only an impact instead of impact + drill, they are not for demolition, high-precision, or mashing the trigger like a gorilla with speed cranked to max on your impact. The larger single piece ones will probably withstand that kind of abuse, but the two piece ones will eventually break. Use lower speeds & take it easy on the two-piece bits and they hold up just fine in wood & drywall. DO NOT USE THEM ON METAL. Thin aluminum is probably fine, but steel will absolutely destroy these. They are not for this. Go buy a set of m35 or m42 molybdenum cobalt HSS bits for steel & keep them lubricated.I've been using these for >90% of my low precision wood/drywall drilling handyman work for several months. I estimate around 500 holes drilled with the set, almost entirely with the mid-size two piece ones at depths less than 2". NO FAILURES, work just as well as day one. This is a very solid set at a great price. Just use them how they're intended. Stay within their limits.

Great quality great storage
I really like the quality of these bits, and they stay organized in their case. I’ve put these bits to the test in lumber, pressure treated, and steel. They hold up, and stay sharp after heavy use. Everyone has drill bits rolling around looking for a place to be, but here they remain in their own measured slots, making them very easy to move around. I appreciate that!

Good mid grade drills.
Decent but not cobalt. Buyer be aware that almost "titanium nitride" bits are merely coated. The underlying steel is High speed steel for these and sometimes cheap steel for off brands. Unce they need sharpening, they lose some of their edge. Pun intended. For really hard materials - get the expensive solid cobalt bits. Overkill for most homeowners.

Worked for drilling through car bumper
Some of the smaller ones have a bit of a wobble but I'm not a professional builder or anything, so I wasn't looking for perfect. They were cheaper than autozone, had a wider variety, and worked for drilling holes through my car bumper.

Excellent set and storage box.
My go to set. Drill bits are longer than on similar Milwaukee set, which I like. Holding up great with use.

Definitely the best choice for a lesser expensive quick-connect bit set.
Very nice product. For the price they are WAY better than discount brands.

Sharp and dependable
These have proven to stay sharp so far. I try not to drill metal or concrete whenever I can avoid it. But when I need to drill metal studs I am glad to have these on hand. Against wood these bits are razors.
