Do not buy this product. It's way too slow. Your 4G mobile might give you better speed, but this device is just as useless as having nothing. The battery and build quality are good, but what’s the point if the internet doesn’t work? It's a waste of money and time. I got so frustrated I would love to return it, but Amazon didn’t even give me the option to do so.By the way, I don’t know why, but when I first got it, the speed was 4 Mbps (which is still low). Now, after 10 days, it’s only giving me 300 Kbps, which is probably slower than a 3G phone. If you're looking for speed, don’t buy it.However, if you just need a showpiece or a fancy paperweight, then go ahead.(If possible, please allow me to return it.)

I purchased this Amazon Basics dongle temporarily during my summer vacation when I had to travel to my native place. Since I usually work from home using Wi-Fi through an Ethernet connection, I needed a portable internet solution, and this dongle worked perfectly for that purpose.I used an Airtel SIM with a 30GB data pack, and it worked flawlessly. Although my SIM supports 5G, this dongle only supports 4G, which is sufficient for regular usage like video calls, browsing, and office work.Battery life is impressive — in my case, it lasted over 8 hours, and I didn’t even use it until it completely switched off, so I believe it can easily go beyond 9 hours.Overall, a great product for temporary internet needs and work-from-home setups during travel.

Worst product. Jio 4G LTE wifi dongle was better. I used Jio Dongle for 5 years. So, thought of buying it for a change. It works only for 5 mins. Automatically it gets switched off in between. Two to three times restart is required to make it work and again the same problem happens. By the time I came to know about its defects return window was over. I lost my money purchasing this product.

Observations after 15 days with Jio simPros:- Good signal strength (around 15 meter)- Support any sim- Up to 3 to 3.5 hours of battery backup- Configuration steps given in manualCons:- Cable length is too short- Cable quality is too poor and if I use wired connectivity with this device then internet disconnects automatically after a period of time (20-30 mins). I have to eject and reinsert cable in USB port. This is the biggest drawback. This issue is not observed for wifi connection.- In user manual it is mentioned to not to place this device near any other wireless device- Its price is much higher than its features and cable quality.I was looking for battery based wireless portable device so I had to make this decision.
