Works very well, but toxic to other pollinators
I have some citrus trees and they get ravaged by leaf boring insects. In the past I've used Neem oil, but I've had to apply it almost weekly to get any results. I've applied this product to the soil once in early spring and it has protected my trees from those insects for weeks. It is quite remarkable, but I'm sorry the Neem oil wasn't more effective as I'm concerned about using a man-made chemical rather than an organic product like Neem oil on something that I'll eat. Also the EPA says this product "is highly toxic to bees", I worry about pollinators although Neem oil apparently does impact bees too, but not as much.Lastly, I've had to use so little of this product it is not only a time saver, but is also very cost effective.

Worked for my citrus trees
I live in southern california and have several citrus trees in my yard. All of them were being attacked by several types of pests and were not looking very happy. I had grasshoppers, sharpshooters, leaf miners, aphids, and scale all on my trees. I couldn't even stand under them as I would get "rained" on by aphid excrement that was like a light mist. I did not want to use a poison and held out as long as I could, spraying them with neem oil but that did not seem to help at all. So I finally broke down and bought this. I made sure not to use it while the trees were flowering due to the fact apparently it is really toxic to bees. I applied it at the end of the growing season and this spring the trees are all doing really great. The new leaf growth is untouched by pests whereas normally they would take advantage of that. Now that I've gotten the pests reigned in I'll see if I can't maintain them with just neem oil instead of having to use something as poisonous as this.

For the lazy/busy gardener
I have previously used really strong solutions of imidacloprid for my front yard bushes to take care of beetles and other pests. It was really easy to use since this is a systematic pesticide. That is, you just mix with water and pour it on the roots. The plants takes in the imidacloprid and stores it in its tissue so that you only need to apply the pesticide once a year and no further treatment is needed. However, the concentration of imidacloprid for my frontyard treatment is far too strong to be used on the edible crops and plants that I grow in my backyard. That is where this pesticide comes in. It only contains 0.235% Imidacloprid making it suitable for edible crops. Like the stronger concentration pesticides, it is systematic, so you only apply it once a year. The low concentration means that the fruits are safe to eat, and since I am only spraying once a year, you end up saving a lot more compared to other pesticides that require a spray every week or two. Since the chemical only affects insects that feed on the plants (usually harmful pests), this is safe for most pollinators like bees.I have actually had this product in mind for the last year. Amazon was offering this product at $13.54 after the coupon discount (The normal MSRP is $26.99), so there was no reason not to buy it.This pesticide is designed for fruits and vegetables. But there are a few things to note. The Pre-harvest Interval, that is, the time needed after each application before you can harvest the crops vary from plant to plant. So you have to check the label prior to use. While it can be used on the listed vegetables, in many cases, the Pre-harvest Interval is 21 days. So you cannot harvest the vegetables for 21 days after application. This might be problematic when it comes to short harvest crops. E.g. Some vegetables may only take 3 or 4 weeks from seed to harvest, so that rules out the use of this pesticide. The pesticide is applying by mixing in water and then pouring it around the roots, so there is no need to spray anything on the plants. It's mostly practical for fruits and less useful for leafy vegetables. If you are a busy gardener and have no time to spray your fruit trees every other week, I would highly recommend this product.

Makes insects go away! So easy to use and effective.
I had a lot of ants on my lemon trees, which caused deformed limes. Ants were constantly in a trail up the trunk of the tree. I used BioAdvanced Fruit, Citrus & Vegetable Insect Control last season and the ants disappeared soon after. It's so easy to use. You don't even have to spray it on the trees. I'd tried other more complicated insect control on fruit trees, but nothing is as effective and easy to use as BioAdvanced.
