While this may be one of the less expensive brands out there (when on sale), it is a pretty good value option for a retractable garden hose. I bought 2 of these a couple of years ago on Prime day I think (slightly different options -- hose length and diameter) for the front and back yard. I wanted to replace the manual wind garden hose boxes since my wife had trouble retracting hoses manually. These were on sale at Amazon so I thought I would try it. Installation was pretty easy. Works great! While the build quality may not be AAA++, I am sure some compromises had to be made on the hose (to make sure it is flexible enough to retract well enough), cost effectiveness, and overall weight. The uploaded photo is of an issue I had with the garden hose after 22 to 23 months. I contacted the company's after sale support and they sent us a brand new replacement of the total unit -- I guess just the hose isn't serviceable. The unit was even easier to install since I am using the same brackets. I am sure some will say the hose should have lasted longer, but you know what, I use the garden hose very frequently. Also, we are in California where it gets pretty hot, and it is a good price on sale. They stood behind their product so I can't complain and that is why I am writing this review. Even 22 to 23 months in on a 24 month warranty, they sent me a full replacement and I received it within a week after I submitted the warranty claim. Just FYI. the other retractable hose I got from them has no issues -- well, maybe the nozzle needs to be replaced, but those are cheap (heh heh) any I always replace those after a few years anyways. I am happy and fully satisfied with my purchase. :)

Functionality is what I was looking for and it’s was just perfect. I love this particular model because of its “hanging” mechanism. It’s a metal pin that goes all the way through the mount bracket, which is really sturdy.I got the second one for the back. Such a game changer. So happy now.

Not as good as I expected. I was putting it into a concrete wall so you'll need a good drill with an ever better drill bit. The problem was pulling it out of the unit, especially since the hose size is relatively small. It required a lot of effort to the point my wife thought it was stuck. Next time I'm buying a smaller size hose in a shorter length.

Very high quality and easy to install. I placed it in my breezeway to pivot between my front and back yard. I was prepared to use my own hose as the description was not clear that a hose was preinstalled but was pleasantly surprised!

Came packaged well, went up easy, no leaks like many people report, and works great. I’ve only had it up a few days, I’ll try to remember to make another post 6 months from now.

installed iit 6 months ago and was outside for 1 winter only and its now leaking from all over - the hose is leaking from inside the cover and also from the hose head. called and emailed customer service multiple times as it says 2 yr warranty and didn't even hear back. its a total scam. stay away from this brand and this type of hose.

Mounting bracket comes attached to hose reel. It is secured in place by a very tiny Phillips screw. For these installation, you should remove the screw out the bracket and then attach the hose reel. Be careful not the drip the screw. It is tiny and recessed very far in. After mounting, I did not replace the screw. Those real is in my backyard and if I ever wanna take it off, I don’t have to worry about that tiny little screw. The only real problem I had with the unit is the hose that connects to the real comes out at a 90° angle. I had to purchase a 90° elbow so that the hose would not stick straight out. I do not understand why they don’t include an elbow to relieve tension on the hose. Otherwise, I like the unit and appears well made. I’ve barely used it at all. I will update if there’s a problem.

The product arrived in a timely manner. At this time there are no issues with the product. Hose is more plastic compared to a rubber hose with more flexibility. I may change the hose out depending on kinking which may take place.
