A treat for fans of Bloodborne
I've been a big fan of Bloodborne for years. It's by far my favorite Souls game. This book takes me right back to the world and atmosphere. The art work is dreary and dirty, just like the actual game. I don't know how many more books are in this series, but now I aim to add them all to my collection. Good hunting.

Finally! Cullen Bunn Mixes Action and Plot Well... Unlike The First Bloodborne Comics Author.
As a lover of Bloodborne, I had been disappointed by the comic series for a long time. Although the previous prose-heavy writing style of the first series' writer, Ales Kot, could arguably fit a Victorian-themed world like Bloodborne, the game is also action-packed and fast-paced. The first four arcs of the comic series were not only way too boring and lacking in action, but often veered into lazy stream of consciousness writing that didn't explore the characters and world of Bloodborne with justice. This writer, Cullen Bunn, is the complete opposite. It seems like he actually played the game and understands the balance of plot, characterization, action, and the overall storyline without pulling any avant-garde tricks to be pseudo-deep. I read the preview Free Comic Day issue and got thrown off because it only showcased a few pages without action; I'm glad I bought this volume because I was pleasantly surprised and finally feel like I've gotten a copy of a Bloodborne comic art that is worthy to stand alongside the actual classic FromSoftware game.
