This is a fun little handheld game that teaches the kids without them even realizing it! Haha! Has different levels of games racing to solve equations and training your brain. Good size for any age to hold in their hands! And it's solid, sturdy plastic that won't fall apart.

The actual game is wonderful. My kids love it which is why I gave it 5 stars. However, beware - this toy arrived used. Twice. We got this for Christmas, and clearly the box had been opened previously and taped shut. We decided to keep it anyway, until we realized the toy itself was broken. It would suddenly stop working half way through a game or not turn on at all even with fresh batteries. We returned it. The kids were asking if we could buy again, so I did, thinking the chances would be pretty low we would get a used toy twice. The seller was Amazon, not a third party, which I mistakenly thought would be more reliable. Well, it just arrived, and it could quite possibly be the exact same one I returned, now with even more tape taping it closed. It's going back again, and we will not be purchasing from Amazon a third time. Time to go to a good old brick & mortar toy store!

The numbers/problems are hard for him to read.. but we read it for him and he excitedly hits the answer.. he loves math so this was a great gift

What an awesome, engaging learning toy! I've had mine for a year, and it's still going strong. My kids use Math Slam on a daily basis. I homeschool, and I am always looking for educational, entertaining toys. This educational toy is just for addition and subtraction. There are many levels of play, from simple addition/subtraction to a double digit addition/subtraction. There IS a volume control, which is excellent. My oldest has autism, so anything that's interactive learning, helps so much more. He actually "works for" the reward of playing it. Great way for special needs kiddos to show you what they really do know. My daughter is now 6, and she wants one of her own to have competitions of who can answer the most the fastest. Math Slam has been used on a daily basis, for the past year, with no issues whatsoever. I came here just to find similar products, and decided to write a review. I paid full price for this item.

My child loves doing math facts on this. I love that there’s a volume control. 😆Many different options and settings. We also do flash cards, but this is something extra fun and special she can do on her own that’s not a typical video game.

I should have went with the reviews this toy was made defective. I’ve read Reviews it had issues but gave it a chance. It’s clearly defective some type of mechanism inside the toy. Majority of the questions that are answered right that are on the orange or purple slam button are sounded wrong. this can be frustrating for any kid especially a autistic kid who is learning math and certain his answers are right but gets sounded wrong. So I gave it a try while recording myself, this is a major let down and a wrongful guidance math learning tool. the game where you slam the numbers smallest to largest I was given 19 15 17 3 . Slammed 3 since its clearly the smallest and it sounded me WRONG?! And sounded me right when I slammed 15 how is 15 smaller than 3?! MISLEADING!!

Our 5 year old grandson loves numbers, addition, subtraction, and counting.He loves this, and plays by himself or with a grownup, for fun!

I got this for my six year old son for homeschooling. I got it to change up how he learns math instead of sitting down with a book and pencil. Anyways he loves it, plays with he for hours. He also loves writing down his times and trying to do a little better every time. This educational toy has made him even stronger with his math skills! We love it!
