I use these broths for more traditional hot pot/shabu-shabu where I will throw in some meats, veggies, etc. over time and take them out to eat when they are ready, flavoring both the broth and the addons. I would use such addons in lettuce wraps, dip them in various sauces or eat as is. The combinations are many.I only eat it as an actual "soup" when it's towards the end or if the broth is good on it's own (tomato and even mushroom was good for example). They were all so delicious as far as I've tried.I've yet to try the plain flavor (but am sure I'll enjoy it) and loved everything else BUT the mala spicy one. The mala spicy one is "tasty" per se, but it has a certain numbing "flavoring" from certain spices that I find with most other Chinese hot pot broths that I don't care for very much at all, as it lingers unpleasantly so. It's not a spicy hot kind of numbing, exactly, but like you bit into something bitter/spicy that makes you feel like your tongue just got a shot of painkiller from the dentist. If it didn't have that, it would've been good as well. Overall, otherwise, I love this brand of hot pot broths.

These are so good! There's no place near me to go do hotpot, so these were great for Christmas hotpot at home! Very easy to use, i tried the spicy and mushroom in a split pot ready to use in 15 to 20 min and because the seasonings are stronge you can just refill with more water and keep eating of anyone is still hungry. Or at my house we save the broth and store it in the fridge over night and then heat it up again the next night to eat off any hotpot left overs. Also if you prefer less oil, id recommend pouring the oil pack into a small container and then you can add the oil in as desired.Wonderful meals, would definitely recommend!

The product is great but I got a double dose of tomato instead of the mushrooms advertised.

I bought them to get a taste reference, actually making a broth yourself can make something better.

These products make me think about my past days and those people I left behind. Miss them 😢

Have only tried the Plain and the Mushroom so far, but they are both very tasty. Only note is that the broth is not one you really want to eat afterwards, unless you like really salty things. They are great for cooking the meat, veggies and even noodles at the end, but i would not drink (eat) what remains. Otherwise, supper tasty!!

Very tasty, fast way to hot pot when all you want to do is chop up a few vegetables and enjoy your beer and the company of your friends.

This soup is delicious and intriguing. You can add many veggies to make it custom.
