YAMAHAAudio SR-C20A Compact Sound Bar with Built-in Subwoofer and Bluetooth, Black

I needed a decent sound bar with reasonable sound quality that was small enough to fit on my TV stand; short enough to fit between the TV base supports and small enough height to not block the bottom of my TV picture. This is definitely it. No - it is not full 5.1 theater sound quality. I don't need that - I already have one of those. But - it turns on and off with the TV; has much better sound than the Samsung TV speakers; has excellent base for it's size; has super clear and loud dialog from the program; and fits neatly and perfectly on my TV stand nestled at the base of the TV. Perfect !!

Just purchased this to connect to an old Samsung LCD TV. Setup took about five minutes. It too over as soon as I turned it on and the sound is great for the small room we have it in.

Had it 4 years now. Sound was okay and tweakable through settings and using the Yamaha SB Remote app. It’s flaky at times and now suddenly keeps lowering volume to zero on its own. Seems the optical was always flaky. I got 4 years out of it but looking for something better this time.

Yamaha is a trusted brand of mine when it comes to audio gear. I was doing research on soundbars that deliver good sound for gaming and movies (strictly bluray for superior sound). I kept seeing this Yamaha pop up in many peoples top lists. I got it because of the brand, price and it being only one piece.Setup was super easy. Unbox. Connect your soundbar to your TV via Optical or a special kind of HDMI cord that's not included btw. I didn't have that HDMI cord but thankfully this thing will connect to your tv via OPTICAL cable.I tested this out watching PIXAR/DISNEY movies and let me tell you... this sound bar really pops off with sounds i never heard before. Gaming on my PS4 Pro sounds great. I'm hearing things i never heard from the built in speakers.I got two of these. one for my office and living room. I'm super satisfied with this soundbar and will continue to use it until i decide to upgrade to a pricier soundbar with subwoofer setup.

This thing sounds great, I've loved it for just over 2 years. But starting a few months ago the dang thing is constantly losing signal (bluetooth). I didnt change any devices or anything that would warrant a change in signal strength. It's also only maybe 4 feet from the source. Super annoying, unfortunately I'm probably gonna have to replace it already even though it still sounds great...when its connected.

Heat speaker, forts size it offers a rich full sound for a small or medium room.
