OMG. THEY WORK SO WELL!!!
Our dog is older and has a brain tumor. To slow its progress and buy time before we have to lose her (she’s not in pain or suffering but the end is inevitable), she’s on pills three times a day. Both pills and capsules. I tried cheese, peanut butter, etc. no matter what we did she picked the pills out. She got to the point of grinding on the tablets and opening the capsules and mixing it with wet food but she still knew it was there and it was a fight to get her to take her medicine. I was complaining to a friend and she said to try the Greenies Pill Pockets. She said they work BUT get the stinkiest ones. She said her last dog had the same issue with meds and all the tricks didn’t work and she tried the peanut butters ones and nothing. But then she tried the hickory and it was a score. She said the stronger scent overpowers their ability to smell of the pills if you have a pickier dog. I’m willing to try anyone thing once so ok. We ordered a small bag. Hickory flavor.HOLY HECK!!! It worked. I shoved both her capsule and her tablet in one pocket, mushed it closed, and handed it to her. She gobbled it up. In fact she likes them SO MUCH she will not eat her food until she gets her pill pocket treat! If you buy the capsule ones you can fit a small tablet and a capsule inside and mush it closed so the contents are virtually all covered. Sometimes I buy the tablet ones by accident so she gets two at once but the capsules don’t fit well in the tablet ones. So save yourself the griefIf your dog won’t even eat the other flavors try the hickory. They smell like beef jerky. But they work. Every time. She actually wants her pills now. No fight. Just a happy dog and happy owner!

It works!!! My pup LOVES them
This product has been an absolute game changer. I tried EVERYTHING before. Cheese, salami, bread, even using wet food for pills. Nothing worked. This does. Giving my dog medicine has become a treat for both of us now.For anyone saying it doesn't work, I'd say try these pro tips:At first, my dog did not respond to these. He would be able to find the pill and spit it out. Now what I do is - I give him one of these WITHOUT any pills in it first. I squash it together first obviously so he can't tell it's empty. Once he trusts me (he always takes the first gingerly to see if there's something in it), I have the next one with the pill in it ready to go.I don't chase him around with it offering it to him. Once he's had the first, he follows me around waiting for the second (with the pill) like it's any other treat. Eventually, I give it to him and he's so excited about it he doesn't even notice the pill.If you have larger pills (or even something as bulky as like a simperica trio block), if you're able I recommend cutting it up into multiple treats. Buying a bag of these is much cheaper than the half chewed medicine they won't take.I love this stuff. It smells great, it's pliable, heck even I want to try it 😅😂🤣

Doggy Crack
For 12 years, my dog has been quiet and shy. Never barks, never bothers anyone, loves to sit on the couch all day. Then his health went downhill with old age and he now needs a ton of meds every day. Initially I was worried about this, but turns out, he freaking LOVES medicine time because he is addicited to pill pockets like they are some kind of doggy crack. Pill pockets turned my dog into a WOLF. He now barks at me to hurry the F up when I'm preparing his pills, telling me I'm not doing it fast enough. "Forgets" all his training and snatches them out of my hand immediately. I've never seen him love anything more.My dog is 15lbs and these pill pockets are massive, but they're soft and squishy (and they don't go stale over time), so I break pieces off and smoosh his pill into a bit I pull off. If I gave him a whole pill pocket for each of his 6 pills a day, he'd be overweight.

Pill pockets
Okay, I get so tired of buying these but I have a senior dog and I have to. I recently ordered the milk bone brand and they’re a bit harder. I appreciated that, however my dog didn’t. With these, she will swallow without chewing. With the milk bone brand, she had to chew and she figured me all the way out. She’s now skeptical of everything I give her. It’s crazy because she eats cat poo so I don’t get it. The pill has to be significantly easier to eat than cat poo. Anyway. I switched the flavor of these to cheese and she’s back to eating treats without a problem. Unfortunately I have a senior girl who takes pills regularly, twice a day. These are always fresh and soft when I get them and worth the money because have you ever fought a dog to eat a pill?

A Lifesaver for Giving Pills!
I can’t say enough good things about Greenies Pill Pockets. Giving medication to my dog used to be a daily struggle — he could sniff out a pill from a mile away and would spit it out no matter how well I tried to hide it in food. But these pill pockets have completely changed that. The texture is soft and moldable, so I can easily wrap it around any size pill. My dog thinks it’s a treat and eats it right up without hesitation. No more battles, no more wasted pills. I love that they come in different flavors (we use the peanut butter or chicken), and they don’t upset his stomach. They’re a bit pricier than DIY options, but for the convenience and stress relief, they’re 100% worth it. If you have a picky pup or one who’s a pro at avoiding meds, I highly recommend giving these a try!

Cheesed to treat ya
Why did you pick this product vs others?:While these treats helped us to get our dog through his period of needing medication, I have to recommend buying smaller packages of these if you don't know what flavor your dog likes or if they still struggle to take pills even with these. They helped us to get the job done but my dog began to expect a struggle when he smelled these. I think if we had had different varieties it may have been easier. But, if your dog loves the one flavor, saving money on the big pack is the way to go.
