Finish and workmanship are Wilton quality. Stops for common angles are reasonably accurate. I use angle blocks for setup so have not paid attention to the accuracy of the included scale, but it is reasonably close. Used for light milling and angle drilling.

I was surprised at the good quality of this vise. I have shopped extensively for an affordable vertical vise and settled on this one because of cost and Prime shipping (this puppy is heavy to ship!). The typical Chinese floppy cardboard box around the vise itself was a red flag and my heart sank. But then I opened it! What a sight. This thing is beautiful. It's well made, tightly constructed and with no play in the moving parts. I do a lot of small metal forging and this is much better than the Bonny Doone vise already in the shop and the jaws are about the same size in area. This vise is completely adjustable with two ways to secure the angles. It has a small footprint on the bench. I'm very happy to have purchased this tool.

Yeah, it was cheap-ish. I shoulda known I guess. I had to take it apart, clean all the skank off it, completely deburr it everywhere, lube it, and put it back together to to be fully unimpressed. Whatever points you might be giving it ahead of time because it says 'Wilton' on it is, I can attest to, very misguided. The Wilton you're thinking of is dead. Long live the cartoon version of it. The curved tin-foil degree label was half off, so I had to razor it completely off and will worry about re-attaching that later. The mfg process appears to be: cast/powder-coat/machine/assemble/box/ship. No cleanup, no QA, no lube (had old cutting fluid all over it), and yes, they powder-coated it before machining it. Bizarre.* Will it hold stuff at an angle? sure.* Will it make me throw up a little in my mouth every time I need to use it? Absolutely.

I plan to use this to sharpen mower blades w a file. It gives a better angle so that I am not trying to lean over the blade w a regular plane. Biggest problem with this is that I am having to use a hammer to get the vise to turn. I have pulled off the "brake" which anchors the tilted vise at a specific angle and I have oiled the contacting steel parts thinking that would make for smoother movement. NO. In fact the machined parts are so tight that pieces of metal are breaking off. I don't think it is operating as it should which I believe would be smooth rotation. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but this is a pretty simple device that should rotate in its cradle with no more than harsh language being needed when new.

I just mounted it on a 3/8" plate using the Hardy Hole of my anvil, which is installed on a custom welded steel stand.So far, so good.

The fit and finish on this vise is typical for Chinese products. The machining is on the rough side and the thread fit is loose. I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly what I expected for the price. It will do what I need, so I'm happy with the purchase.I would classify this as an "economy" Wilton. I have one of the American made Wiltons and they are a true work of art. Quality fit and finish that is second to none. Of course it cost me 20X the price of this one.You get what you pay for.
