Sure, they have a strong smell
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Sure, they have a strong smell. They're fish skins. Have you ever seen a scent-free fish? Right. That is part of why my dog LOVES these. She loves fish, like more than cats do. She loves the crunch of these! I don't find the smell that strong, or even objectionable. I've bought others, and some were nasty. The rolled up ones seem to be made from lower quality skins. They are very thin and just don't look right. These, though, even look good. They are flat strips, and are thicker. I love this brand. The Wolf fish ones are good, too. My girl just seems to like these cod skins more.

Fantastic
My dog absolutely loves these treats, granted they do have a fish scent once moist overall wouldn’t trade them! Other cod skins are crunchy and leave pieces on the ground, these do not!

Highly recommend
As a former veterinary technician, I vowed never to feed my dogs rawhide as we did countless surgeries on intestinal blockages as a result dogs eating rawhide. These cod treats are incredible. My dog loves them, they are safe to digest and do wonders in helping my dog's teeth stay relatively tartar free. I have been buying these for years and finally decided to do a review. Highly recommend.

My dogs love chewing on this! It keeps them busy for a couple of minutes and clams them down!

Dog Approved!
My dog's really like these, which I'm kind of surprised, because they're kind of picky. When I first gave it to them, they looked at me like I was crazy, but then they went wild with them. LOL I do,however, recommend that you give this to your dog outside, because the product does stink once they put their saliva on it and it makes a mess in the house. If you do it outside just beware that your dog might bury it, if you have a dog that digs and likes to do that. I might continue to buy these but definitely my dogs have to have these outside.

My girls love these! Both young dogs who gets one when company comes to visit. It quiets them down to enjoy while the initial excitement settles.
