This CAREX quad cane with the small base and adjustable height choices is perfect for me. Well made, sturdy, & doesn't wobble when I'm walking. Much better than a single "stick" cane.

Just not at sturdy/solid as the same ones I have bought from Carex many times before. Still have two... in great condition. Just wanted back ups.

This cane is very sturdy and helps me negotiate the stairs to my bedroom. I am so happy I have this to negotiate stairs.

I was leery of ordering because some reviews were bad, but seeing a huge difference in price for the same thing at the local drug store, I decided to try it. The cane was on time and in good condition except for the box it came in being partially torn open. My only complaint is the packaging. Cane is just as advertised and stands well by itself. Huge plus to not have to worry about it falling and rolling away! It isn't quite as sturdy as I'd like, though. Slightly wobbly.

This quad cane is good for most situations. The foot base is smaller which makes it easier to get around in the house. Its lighter weight doesn't wear you out. The peg to adjust the height is easy to use. I will use this for the car. My daughters have outside steps with no handrails. I believe this will be sturdy enough to go up/down steps since I will not be alone while visiting. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness and stability because it is light weight. NOTE: I have a much heavier and larger base quad for different purposes.

We needed a cane ASAP after my mom had a stroke, this arrived quickly which was so appreciated!

Okay, I usually trust the Amazon's Choice label. I read some of the negative comments on it and brushed it off. I have to warn you that they are true. I got the cane for my mom who has balance issues. First, the cane came missing a rubber feet tip. As others said, the process for replacing this through since it's a medical device is frustrating. When you make a claim on Amazon, it directs you to contact the company. When you call the company, they tell you to contact Amazon. It was almost impossible to make a claim through Amazon. Anyways, I ended up buying replacement Carex tips (these are 5/8" by the way). After putting them on, this cane has a slight wobble. The slight imbalance on a flat surface (we have tile and hardwood throughout the house) is enough for me not to trust this cane to my mom. I tried using it and I just do not have confidence in it to give to someone with poor balance. The design of this particular quad feet makes it easy for you to tip over at circle angles due to the imbalance. To be fair, it feels sturdy and built okay. The padding on the handle could be a little thicker, I can feel the metal somewhat through the padding when putting my weight (170lbs) on the cane. I will look for something better for my mother.
