Perfect for those cold miserable days
I start it and let the cab warm up first. This little heater makes life less miserable when trudging through the snow and muck in my side by side. I no longer drive it while wearing my coat as it gets warm pretty quickly. The fan could be a little stronger but for the price I'm not complaining overall I'm impressed.

Read the instructions on the outside of the box not the enclosed instructions
The instructions say nothing about needing a 30amp inline fuse but the outside of the box did. Any inline fuse other that a heavy duty one, will melt and not all farm/ranch stores carry the heavy duty. This inline fuse should have been included with the heater even if it increased the price. Heat output isn't that great so the heater is only for defrosting the windshield not for cab heat. Heater seem like cheap plastic so I hope it holds up.

Great heater for our ATV
We bought this for our ATV and really like it. This has a great output and was super easy to install, great value for the money. Highly recommend.

Easy to install
Easy to install just wished it put out more heat.

It was bigger than I thought it would be.
I used it in my ranger that has doors and no heater. It does keep the chill off when in it this winter.

Very low low output
The heater had a very low output would not purchase it again and was not made pacifically for the Polaris 500 disappointed in that was just a general heater that could be used anywhere that is very misleading

Not worth the money
I installed this product as stated. I connected it directly to the battery. Since I installed it I have blown 4 20 amp fuses. Every time I install a new fuse within 3 minutes it would blows. So I would not recommend this produce to anyone. I think I got It in October but I did not install it until December. So it passed the return date.

Easy to install but doesn’t put out much heat.
Installation was simple. However, it doesn’t put out much heat and fan isn’t very good.
