Vikan Shovel Lightweight Strong Plastic Rust Proof Food Snow Muck Manure Red

I wanted a shovel to make light work of the sodden leaves that had accumulated around the landing of the waterside pub where I look after the gardens. Enter the Vikan, it is incredibly sturdy with no flex to the handle or blade, cleans off easily and is a joy to use as it's so light. 12 rubbish bags later and the job was done with far less effort than when using a heavy traditional metal shovel. Bear in mind that a shovel is not a spade and thus not designed for digging and you should expect a really good service life from this product. I'm delighted...

I will post a review when I have tested the shovel out on some snowbut it looks and feels fairly light and at the same time sturdy.

I have not had the opportunity to use the snow shovel yet (fortunately) as I bought it in June and it is now July, but it appears sturdy and well up to the job. Fairly lightweight and you will not lose it in the snow!

Lightweight, sturdy shovel. Ideal to keep in car boot ready to clear snow. Good at clearing snow and slush from around car wheels and for clearing paths and pavements. The bright red colour makes losing the shovel very difficult. Recommended !

We mix cement with this, as roofers we sometimes mix in a plastic tray on a roof and this is good and strong we cut down the size of the shovel bit as you could skoop too much muck at once as it's designed to lift bulky light materials such as garden refuge
