Don't these make the road seem darker though at night? Do they work?

No, road doesn't seem darker to me
They cut most of the dazzle, not absolutely all, but make enough of a difference to me and that I now wear them every time I drive at night for sure (I get migraines from glare)

Question 2

Are these better for night time driving then the dark ones TR 90 sports

Thank you for your enquiry. Only the yellow lenses are recommended for night driving. We do not recommend any of the other lenses on any of our models for this purpose. Whereas the grey and blue lenses would be too dark, the yellow lenses reduce headlight glare without compromising on visibility. Both these and the TR90 glasses have yellow lens variations manufactured using the same lens material. It is just a matter of personal preference whether you prefer this design with aluminium magnesium frames or the TR90 design with polycarbonate frames. I hope this helps.

Question 3

These glasses show no difference on the test card. Makes me think they are not polarised. Has anyone else noticed this?

Rest assured that the glasses are fully polarised. When you wear the glasses you can see a little yellow fish on the test card - this is the polarisation. This image is much fainter with the yellow night driving glasses than it is with the grey sunglasses. This is completely normal and the same for all night driving glasses. The problem is that the yellow lenses do not show up the image as clearly as the grey lenses - not that they are less polarised.

Are these glasses suitable for ladies?  I have a very small face/head and don't want them to be huge on me!

Thanks so much for your enquiry. Yes, they are suitable for both ladies and gents as the rubber-padded arms have spring-loaded hinges that 'find' the shape of your face. You can also bend the frames above the nose piece to make it more or less wraparound. Hope that helps.
