This Starbucks French Roast for Nespresso Is exactly what I would want from a true dark roast—bold, rich flavor with a strong roasted character. Its richness is beautifully balanced, featuring a subtle hint of bitterness that emerges from the dark roast, seamlessly intertwined with the deep, indulgent notes of smoky dark chocolate. When I add a touch of creamer, it transforms this already delightful drink into a velvety, luxurious treat that tantalizes the palate.As the coffee brews, it produces a light cream atop the surface, which, once the brewing is complete, reveals a layer filled with rich coffee oils. These have good taste and they’re a bit overpriced, but the way Nespresso has been constantly raising their Vertuo cup prices lately it’s brought Starbucks back into the equation. I’d buy these again, would love to catch them on sale.
