Lovely gift, my daughter loved this for Christmas. Spoilt for choice with the light colours.

This is a fab idea and makes a really good kit at the end of it. Depending on the age you're gifting this to they may need some supervision to get it as neat as they'll want, but it's all a good size for them to do. My 6year old really enjoyed making it and although I carried it upstairs for him (he kept knocking over the dinos where it wasn't straight) he managed to do the rest of it pretty much on his own.I like that the light sits in the top so it's easy to replace the batteries when you need to without disturbing the whole scenery. It also creates quite a good light, depending on how you place it all around the terrarium.The dinos and decoration are all on par quality for the price expectation and overall I really like it!

This is a great little make your own terrarium light kit based around a charming dinosaur theme. Includes instructions and all the parts required to assemble the terrarium globe. The two part display case is a clear plastic dome and a lid pre-fitted with led lights, this requires 3xAAA batteries (not supplied - a USB rechargeable unit would have been preferred and better), this is operated with a remote control (cell battery included) which has different colour and dimmable settings.Content quality and end results are excellent and a great all in one kit for just under £20 (at the time of review) although i feel the value is slightly overpriced. Perfect for a little dinosaur lover, ideal as a simple crafty rainy day activity and I like that you get to keep and use the functional end product.

This is great fun, we do enjoy games/projects that encourage imagination and bring out the childs creativity and this is one of those that captures it perfectly.Simple to design but do remember to put the normal sand in first with the coloured sand in afterwards. Not sure I would agree with the advertised age range from 3yrs but for a 5yr old upwards this can be used unattended.The addition of a light with a remote control where you can change the colour is another good idea.Never considered dinosaurs in a terrarium before but it works :)

This is a great little gift for any dinosaur fan. Its a terrarium you fill yourself, everything is supplied. Just add the substrate and dinos the pop the lid on. Sadly the light is powered by 3 AAA batteries, a rechargeable light would be more practical, the great thing is that it is remote controlled and you can change the colour and brightness. We left the grass off ours, it looks nicer without

Currently priced at £18.99 with a 10% off voucher at time of review….These little sets are so creative and engaging for little ones…I received the dinosaur one in this set…..and I know my little nephew is going to love it..Fairly simple to do and arrange although a little help might be needed for the lights…Remote for the lights so you can have different colours…

The media could not be loaded. Got this for the little girl since she absolutely loves dinosaurs.It was extremely easy to set up, with the "sands" nicely packed in sealed bags, trees, grass and dinosaurs all arrange able as desired.I couldn't quite fit all the dososaurs in, as it would have been really crowded, with some ontop. Of each other.Otherwise, everything is of great quality.The light uses 3 X AAA batteries while the remote comes with an installed battery. It's easy to change colors, or set it to auto rotate. Fantastic terrarium set
