Great
Great product. Reasonably priced, very easy to snap together, and extremely easy to use. It weighs in pounds and ounces so it was perfect to weigh the puppies at birth and weekly. It's very durable and looks like a little baby doctor scale. Love that I will be able to use it even when they're not puppies anymore.

Ok
Problem would be if you had a wiggly dog cat or baby for accurate weight.

Durable and accurate.
Used this to monitor my diabetic cat’s weight and for my newborn baby. Easy to take apart/store/clean. Durable and long lasting battery.

Durable and easy store
we use these scales to weigh our puppies so they get the correct doses of medicine. Since they break down they are easier to store in our vet cabinet and durable. Easy clean hard plastic.

Very high priced for a cheap plastic scale.
Human scales cost less than half of this one. Yes it works. Assembly (there are no instructions) is easy, though. Insert the two AAA batteries (included) in the battery department underneath. Snap the two platform pieces together although they don't align perfectly. Insert them into the opening in the scale base. Then catch your pet (the tricky part) and put them on to weigh them. There is an On/Off button with power shutting off automatically after a minute or two. There is a button to change measurements from Kilograms to Pounds to Ounces. Testing various food packages the weight that shows on the scale is always 1.5 - 2.5 ounces too heavy, I assume this is the platform you put your pet on to weigh him/her. The manufacturer could have adjusted the weight total for this or made a note of this weight variance in the packaging for the user. Anyway, I would have given it a better rating if it were half the price and if there was the courtesy of any kind of instructions about assembly and the actual weight being off 1.5 - 2.5 oz.
