The disc, case and insert all arrived intact and played perfectly. The game itself is a fun adventure both in and out of the Fade. Diverse companions and the combat system all play out nicely. It is truly a great addition to the franchise. You don’t have to love everything about the game to enjoy it and get swept away by the story and quests. If you love the DragonAge world, just play the game and immerse yourself in another visit to Thedas and its amazing ambiance.

I saw the reviews and I was skeptical but my husband is a huge gamer and he really loves it! The quality of the images is impeccable and he enjoys being able to create his own characters that usually look silly and its pretty funny to watch.

Seeing all the negative/1 star reviews, I set my expectations low. 40+ hours in, it's really not that bad. Sure, they "modernized" the game and seemed to make it very "inclusive". If you can set that aside, it's pretty much the Dragon Age Series (and I've played all the titles over the years). Sure, it's a bit "clanky" for a PS5 game compared to some recent blockbuster titles (Elden Ring). That said, if you've played the DA series, not a notable deviation from prior games. It's mostly linear but there's a good deal of optional/companion quests which provide some good additional content and lore. It also references prior history/games/characters which was a nice surprise. Sure, the overall story/theme this go around could have been touched up some but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't "god awful" as some stated. To remain unbiased, I didn't pay full price (actually bought at a pretty big discount). At the discounted price, it's worth the trip/play in my opinion.

I have played all the games that before and love the series. I this game the best of them all, no it isn't. I feel origins or two were the best. That doesn't mean that this game isn't good. I enjoyed the story, your choices actually matter and the companions are interesting. Will they beat Varric, Isabella, or Alister, no, but who really could. The game play is intuitive and fun. You can only have two complains with you which took some getting used to. My main complaint is that you are limited to only mapping 3 skills at a time, that seemed very limiting. All in all it's a good game with some replay ability because of the choices. Another thing people complain it has to much "woke" stuff. There is one charter that struggles with gender identity. I don't think that kills the game. You can always push them toward your view.

Great game. Action RPG without grinding. Fun Gameplay. Great story. 80-100+ hours of in game content.

this game is more in line with Dragon Age 2 than Inquisition. which I think is the better of the 2. game play is buttery smooth, combat is incredible. don't believe the haters. well worth a look.

I put 20+ hours into this game. I really, really tried to like it. But in the end it felt like I was forcing myself to play. I had to put it down for good.The dialogue is extremely corny. It is honestly some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard. It's definitely the worst I've heard in a modern big release. It reminds me a little of the voice acting in the original Resident Evil on PS1, if you've played it you know what I'm talking about. The difference is Resident Evil was a great game despite the voice acting, Dragon Age is not.The choices you are given while interacting with other characters and the world are watered down, shallow and just simply boring. Every interaction is extremely corny made worse by the terrible voice acting. The entire thing feels "Disneyfied". It's not what I expected from a Dragon Age game.In my opinion, even the combat itself is not good. It is redundant and easy. I like a challenge and Dragon Age did not offer that. That might have been okay if there was a stellar story, but unfortunately that is not the case.I would definitely not recommend this game.
