I’ve lost 2 cats because they opened this carrier extremely easily on two separate occasions. One died and the other was never found. DO NOT BUY. Trixie or Amazon Basics carriers are sturdy.

Please never buy this,the cat came out by pushing it ,it is highly risky not safe,the locking mechanism sucks.waste of money.

On dirait comme ça que cette cage n'est pas très solide mais en fait si. Les attaches sont nombreuses. Je ne fais pas trop confiance à la poignée par contre, préférant avoir une main dessus et l'autre main en dessous de la cage. La grille d'entrée est bien : quatre attaches qui permettent de l'ouvrir dans le sens qu'on veut. Quelques rayures qui permettent à l'animal de voir ce qui se passe, où qu'il soit dans la cage. Un grand atout aussi : la cage est pratique à nettoyer ! Parce que quand on a un animal qui est malade en voiture ou juste stressé... Bref, un coup d'essuie-tout, un peu de solution hydro alcoolique pour bien nettoyer et enlever l'odeur et c'est comme neuf.

We got this carrier to take our two 6 week old kittens home. It arrived in good time, assembly was straightforward and it looks sturdy. Both the carrier and the kittens survived the long journey (subway, bus to edinburgh, walk, picking up kittens, taxi to train station, two trains, taxi home). The kittens are tiny so obviously the carrier looked massive when they were inside but we feel that it would be big enough for two fully grown cats too. You can see you pet/stroke it throught the rails/ talk to it to calm it down, which we had to do. The front bit clips on so you can use it as a door (can open on either side) or take it off and the kittens can use it as a bed/hiding place, which ours are doing. In fact, they voluntarily spent their first night in there, so it can't be bad. I would say it's good value for money, I can't thing of any problems with it. Would recommend.

Nous avions d'abord acheter le mauvais format (taille trop grande), ce format est parfait pour notre chat pour qu'il soit à l'aise lors des trajets mais en même temps aussi suffisamment protégé pour y être bien dedans.La poignée tient parfaitement avec un chat de presque 6 kilos dedans.

Although the carrier was big enough for my two cats the closing clips were totally inadequate resulting in them escaping in the car. I will certainly not use it again

I bought both this product and the Savic Trotter 1 carrier which is smaller. The first time they were used, two of our cats spent over three hours in the carriers and we didn't hear any complaints. They are easy to assemble and can be quickly taken apart to save space when storing them. I put a cat weighing 16lbs in the Trotter 2 and he had plenty of space and I didn't feel it might collapse under his weight. It is robust, has a securely closing door and is comfortable to carry. I had looked at several alternatives available and I'm happy that I made a good choice in the Savic Trotter 2.
