Magic: The GatheringFoundations Beginner Box

Foundations is a brilliant set to get started with MTG. It also has some fantastic cards for beefing up decks and play styles for active and veteran players alike.The full-art lands and collectibles D20 are also great additions to this bundle.

Bought the beginners box and the bundle box, I’m new to magic and this will be helpful. I have only opened and had a Quick Look through but I’m positive I have the essentials for friendly games while learning until I’m ready to get some proper cards. Nice foils and full picture lands make me really happy. No mythics but few decent rares and great commons/uncommons.

Item was not as described. I bought a Foundations Collector Booster Box (should be 12 packs) and received only 1 single pack. Other reviewers seem to have a similar issue.

Perfect starter set for anyone looking to get into magic. And with easy to follow step by step instructions to get into the game.Fantastic purchase, and the cards look amazing, artwork is phenomenal

Nice for starting up the game, teaches the basic principles and has enough cards to experiment with.

Just new to MTG from Arena (played for ~3 days) and got this (starter collection). Seems like good value for money with ~400 cards that are balanced across the 5 magic types. From a product standpoint, the print quality is exceptional and the box + counter are nice additions. The art is exceptional, the font is easy to read and the text is well-written and understandable. Looking forward to playing some games. The cards seem well-balanced for the most part but a more experienced player would be able to give more insight one this. Some of the names of the black magic cards could be death/black metal band names! Great stuff!

The Foundations set combines numerous pre-existing Magic: The Gathering realms, from Dominaria to Zendikar, and thus can involve various long-running Planeswalker characters, from Jace Beleren (Blue Magic) to Liliana Vess (Black Magic).Keep in mind that the cards included are wrapped in non-recyclable Booster Pack wrapping paper. Furthermore, if you must use scissors to open these Booster Packs, I would strongly advise players to be careful not to cut into the cards by accident lest they become unusable in public gaming events.
