I'm not even gunna lie, I wanted to hate this bag sooooo bad. Like genuinely, I bought it prepared to write a bad review. I thought it was ridiculously overhyped, and I was determined to stay loyal to classic, simple canvas backpacks but decided to try this on a whim, just in case, the very slimmest chance that I'd like it, and what do you know? I absolutely fell in love with it. There's a color and design for everyone, and it adapts so well to personal needs. My main issue with backpacks is that I don't like bags that are too big or floppy, but I also hate small, cramped bags. This bag in particular has a stretchy cord you can use to "compress" the bag size to your liking, making possible to fit your items in snuggly, or expand it to fit more. It has just enough pockets to store and organize things properly without feeling like a labyrinth. The straps are comfortably padded, and the laptop sleeve fits my 15.6" laptop perfectly.

The backpack every kid has at my kid’s school. My kids love them because they have the same thing as everyone. I love them because they are great quality and I know their electronics and contents will be protected from rain and rough handling

Let me start off by saying northface gear is the only way to go. I have a couple of their duffel bags. And many, many jackets fleeces, sweatshirts, etc etcetera. I love this backpack.Many, many pockets I like the padding. It has on the back. I really, really like the color too, good combination. Rugged, as always since its northface. And Amazon was extremely quick with the delivery as always.

Using this for school. Functionality is amazing they have straps on the back to strap extra bags or stuff you can’t fit in your bag (adjustable too). 2 water bottle holders on the side with some straps to tighten. Zippers are very smooth and the bag is very simple and easy to use. Not terribly bulky but there are straps hanging off which are annoying but an easy fix if you really care. Very versatile, my books don’t get wet in the rain.

i use this as my survival bag--i fit all the essentials in here when i'm going on a hike.i must say--i look pretty good doing it too.

Really good, fits most of my college items as a College freshman who's pursuing an engineering degree, hopefully that stays the same. It's expensive, though. The padding feels high quality, and it is a top heavy backpack, so that's something that you would need to take into account.

Light weight and works well, looks great. Not quite perfect as far as internal organization but still very good.

This pack reels of quality craftsmanship. Northface seems to have thought of everything with this pack. Right down to the very clever and functional whistle built in to the chest strap buckle. There’s an abundance of useful features, especially for traveling around and using it as a day pack. It’s on the large size for a day pack, but it worked for me, as I was toting around umbrellas, water bottles and souvenirs for more than one on a racket trip.
