This speed jump rope has been a game-changer for my workouts. It's fast, smooth, and really amps up the intensity.

I have been a fan of Mogold's self-locking design speed rope, so when I saw that they created a speed rope with 2 bearings and a swivel ball at the end of each handle I had to try it. After I got this Mogold Speed Jump Rope properly sized for my height and assembled, it did not disappoint. It has very smooth rotation, which allows you to enjoy faster, more secure revolutions without tangles. The aluminum knurled handles are comfortable to grip and do not easily slip from your hands. The handles come with weighted bars inside that weigh about 1.5 ounces (or about 43 grams). I like the little bit of extra weight, but people who prefer lighter handles can remove each weight by unscrewing the bottom of the handle. For the overall quality of materials and design, this speed rope gets 5 stars. But because of lack of instructions (especially for newcomers to this style of jump rope) I took off one star.There is nothing extraordinarily complicated about how to size and assemble your jump rope. Still, the product photos and description should better describe what the package includes and explain the function of each part:- 2 wire ropes of different thickness- a bag of locking hardware and teeny plastic bands for the ropes (the thinner bands are for the thinner rope, etc.)- 2 tiny springs are included in the bag that are not included in any of the images or instructionsFor jump rope sizing and assembly you will need a good wire or bolt cutter, especially to cut through the thicker grey rope. You'll also need a screwdriver to tighten the rope lock. If you're not sure about the optimal rope length, be sure to leave yourself some extra length. In my photos, I show one handle I assembled with a little extra rope length, which does not affect the rotation. You can even leave more rope length than I've shown if you want to start off with a longer rope and then gradually shorten as you go.

I really appreciate that it comes with two extra cables as spare parts, though I doubt I’ll need them anytime soon with how tough this set feels.The weight of the rope is perfect—not too heavy, not too light—and it’s evenly balanced, which makes it easy to maintain a smooth rhythm while jumping. It feels like it’s going to last forever, as long as I don’t accidentally snag it on something.Overall, this is a high-quality jump rope set that’s built to last. I was not expecting this to be honest! I almost feel unworthy of this jump rope! It is very serious! The build quality is AMAZING! you can set the length of rope. The handles are weighted and have great grip even though they are metal. The manufacturing of this product is impressive. The instructions are the only shortcoming. The handles 2 bearings and a swivel ball at the end of each handle. Dude, this rope is serious!This jump rope does not disappoint. It has such a smooth rotation (the word butter comes to mind) that allows you to jump rope faster, more secure revolutions without tangles. This thing will have you feeling like Rocky Balboa! The handles have weighted bars inside that weigh about 1.5 ounces (or about 43 grams), but these are removable. I like the feel of extra weight in the handle. If this is not for you, unscrew the bottom of the handle and remove the weight.The materials and design that went into this product, easily earn this 5 stars.

I have to admit that I thought I was going to receive a basic jump rope. What I received was a product that has had science into the manufacturing process. The instructions could have been a little better, but I managed. By the time I was done, the rope was measured and assembled per the criteria listed in the instructions. I have a couple pics of what I received from the order. Enclosed are two different gauge of wires for the rope. The materials and production are top notch. The handles are even weighted in order to get the perfect weight to your liking. I have to say that I have never seen a jump rope that meets the quality of this MOGOLD Speed Rope. Me and my grandson are very satisfied with our new rope. I might even be able to take off a couple (FEW) pounds. :)
