Good little mini gaming PC for the money
This gaming PC arrived in excellent condition and is well packaged. It was easy to set up and I had it going in no-time. It performed well right out of the box and I was pleased with its performance. Great replacement for a smaller mini PC that I had been using previously. Runs everything that I need it for. It would not be well suited for heavy gaming or really large games, it would NOT run my daughter's Baldur's Gate 3, buy hey, it's a mini. It will run smaller, lighter games as well as my weather station and allow steaming. Storage is much better than my old mini too. That is the reason for 5 stars... if you are looking to run something like Baldur's Gate 3, then put out more money.

Such a great minipc for home server
This mini PC has been an excellent choice for my media server needs! It runs Jellyfin flawlessly, handling multiple streams, along with other services like Sonarr, Radarr, and qBittorrent, all without a hitch. Its compact size, low power consumption, and silent operation make it perfect for 24/7 use. The performance is impressive for the price, easily outperforming a Raspberry Pi or NAS for demanding tasks. If you need an affordable yet powerful media server, this mini PC is a fantastic pick.

Mini PC with Big Power — Ideal for Homelabs
Powerful Mini PC — Perfect for Cybersecurity Labs and MoreThe BOSGAME P4 Light Gaming Mini PC with Ryzen has exceeded my expectations. I’m currently using it as part of my cybersecurity homelab, and the performance is excellent — fast, responsive, and capable of handling multiple VMs and tools without issue. One of the best parts is the expandability. It supports up to 64GB of RAM, which is rare for a mini PC in this price range. Plus, the ability to add an extra NVMe drive gives it even more flexibility for storage and system setup. If you need a compact but powerful system for development, homelab setups, or even light gaming, this is a great option.

Great performance at a great price. Way better than I expected it to be. Perfect for Proxmox.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had not heard of Bosgame but the reviews looked good and the price was really for for what they were offering so I took the chance. Thankfully it was a great purchase and I don't have a single complaint. 1. The case is easy to open. They didn't hide the screws under rubber feet or rubber plugs. Even the internal screws have easy access holes. All the screws have threadlock on them which I almost never see. The placement of the fan is way better than most. Right over the main components. If you are looking to run Proxmox this had 100% compatibility. Zero issues. I added a second NVME drive and have a Ceph cluster running. I put the entire cluster under heavy load the units only got a little warmer. So, again, the fan placement is well thought out. The fans are not too loud, either. Short of an entirely fanless unit, you aren't going to fine a fan-cooled unit that is whisper quiet under load. But these are still surprisinly quiet. I could go on with the praise. Suffice that these are REALLY good for a REALLY good price!

Incorrect specification list.
A couple of the reasons that I ordered this mini pc was that according to description it supported Wi-Fi 6e and it had a usb c interface plus two hdmi interfaces.*However, the list of p1 specifications lists network of Wi-Fi 6. Have not opened the box as if not Wi-Fi 6e(6 ghtz channel), then I will return it.* after much searching, found a statement that noted the error on the box that the pc is shipped. Says that in fact, the P1 does support wifi 6E. Too bad it is stated other wise on the box and a few places on the Amazon product page. I have not confirmed this yet as there are other problems subsequently discovered about the product.Expansion problem: The Amazon page says this about the product:"Bosgame P1 Mini Computers is equipped 32GB memory, expandable up to 64GB. It includes a 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe SSD, with scalability up to 4TB storage, and also supports an expansion for a 2.5-inch 8TB SSD." Have not been able to find this anywhere else. Normal expansion is up to 2TB for the M.2 SSD plus with the addition of a 2.5 inch SSD, 2 more TB. Would really like to confirm the 4 and 8 TB specs. However, the expansion of a 2.5 inch ssd is vey complicated. The P1 does not include the sata cable to attach the 2.5" ssd. The Company's web site does say it isn't included. They have a pdf of allegedly how to install the ssd with a pick of the cable required. No comment on where and how to obtain the cable. This is frustrating and the company doesn't even respond to request of how to obtain the cable.I have an older mimi pc from another manufacture tha thas the sata cable and 2.5" ssd interface built into the bottom lid. All I had to do was plug the 2.5 into the sata interface that included power outlet for the drive. So simple.I am so frustrated that I will probably return the P1.

Great device! Highly recommend! Not tested for gaming in this review.
This is an excellent device, especially given the price. The build quality is great. It has space for two NVME SSD's. I haven't upgraded RAM because I don't need it, but I did add a second SSD for my Linux installation. It also comes with a bracket to attach it to the VESA mounts on the back of a monitor. This is how I have mine set up at my desk. No mess.I'm not deducting a star for not REALLY being a gaming rig because I don't think anyone really thinks it would be. That said, it is extremely capable. I tested Autodesk Fusion 360 and it worked great in Windows 11 Pro. I won't be using Windows, but I was curious how it might do, and it was extremely capable.I am booting to a second NVME drive running Zorin Linux 17.3 Pro, and I couldn't be happier. It's snappy and generally great. I haven't tested interface speed (again, it doesn't matter to me) but it does have a lot of capability from having two interfaces. All in all, I'm tickled pink.
