Wren Farthing Pin BadgeStunning vintage British 1948 George VI Farthing cleaned and polished to a gorgeous shine, mounted in 22mm diameter round bronze coloured pin badge.This lovely Farthing coin brooch displays the reverse of the old coin, showing a wren facing left with the date above. It has been hand cleaned, gently buffed and hand polished to bring it to a gorgeous shine, bringing out the coins lovely detailing. This old coin is around 75 years old. Hence obviously shows signs of wear, which adds to its unique character. The original historic farthing is approx. 20mm in diameter. The badge mount is designed so the coin fits neatly inside without fixing, which means it can if necessary be removed and thus does not devalue the farthing in any way. The bronze coloured base metal pin badge brooch has a pin fastening and is around 22mm in diameter.
