Polished wooden bowl given as a gift to two people I’ve taught to knit. Bowl is on the smaller side so big skeins won’t fit. Beautifully made and looks great when sitting out.

The bowl is beautiful and high quality, however it was much smaller than I expected. It doesn't hold a full sized ball/skein. I should have looked at measurements more closely.

This is such a beautiful handmade item, the quality and appearance exceeded my expectations! Oh, and yes.. super help for holding my yarn whole crocheting, especially the ferris wheel skeins!

Nice in appearance but arrived with a crack. I would have overlooked that and kept it if it just wasn’t too small.

Got this as a gift for my sister and ever since she received it I’ve never seen her crocheting without using it. She says it is very useful and she loves it.

Purchased this bowl to use while crocheting to hold my yarn. The bowl is sturdy and heavy enough that it does not move very much when I pull out more yarn. I am currently using smaller skeins. The bowl will be too small for my 7 oz/200g skeins. The wood inside the swirl is a bit rough and not smooth like the rest of the bowl. If inside the swirl had also been sanded and polished, I think it would help the yarn pull through easier. The image of the bowl advertised is a nice warm brown wood tone. The bowl I received is lighter and paler than the item image. I would have preferred the darker, warmer wood tone, however the bowl works fine.

I purchased this bowl for my daughter for when she is traveling around. She loves the fact that she can roll up a ball of yarn,and not worry about it rolling around the floor. If i could find a bigger one I would because she is always trying different projects.

I bought this for a Christmas gift for a friend. It is just gorgeous. Heavy and very nicely finished wood.

This yarn bowl is so pretty, but make sure you check the dimensions! It will hold a small or medium sized ball of yarn & nothing else— this is not the bowl for stashing your project and notions alongside your yarn. It is sturdy and well made, the burnished wood almost glows, and it does its job well. A great gift if a friend knits!

Very well made, looks great and is the perfect size hold the yarn while I'm crocheting.
