LypSyl LypMoisturizer, Orginal Mint, 0.1 oz.

I am shocked, SHOCKED... about the number of stars for this product. I’ve used this product for years and though I’m not sure the difference of this and the original, I have reordered this several times and I will never use another chapstick again. It is moisturizing, it doesn’t cake, you don’t need too much, the packaging is awesome, it lasts. I’m not sure what more one could want from a chapstick. I know ~everyone’s lips are different~ but TRYYY THIS at least! It does the trick. It has a nice sheen. I stand by this product and they won’t sponsor me so you know I’m honest. *reorders*

Bought it because reviews said it wouldn't melt in the car....eventually it did. Not a bad a product, just not what I had hoped for.

The product is brilliant, that's not the problem. The issue is that I was supposed to get 6 tubes in Lypsyl, not 1! So instead I paid $19 for one tube. I just read that other customers have had the same problem so buyers beware. Even through it says that you will get 6, it's not the case. Waiting on a response from the seller to fix the issue to see will see how that goes.

My lips are like delicate little baby flowers and tend to dry out horribly alllll the time, not even just in winter. I had been using Eos lip balm and Burt's Bees in the past, both of which left weird dry patches on my poor baby lips. When I tried the Lipsyl, my lips immediately hydrated like lonesome desert cactuses that had just been waiting for the right rain. I immediately bought a case pack of this stuff because it is PURE MAGIC and I will never use another lip balm until I die. I swear to god. It smells perfect, feels smooth and never lumpy or sticky, even if you really layer it on, and hydrates well for normal dryness or serious dry rough spots. A great buy.

This version of the Lypsyl product is not as good as the "original" one that was formerly available. The "original original,"Lypsyl lypmoisturizer stick original formula with pure swedish beeswax - 0.10 oz / pack, 6 ea which has slightly different colored packaging (darker green print and cap, as well as a logo inside an oval) has much less menthol. This product has menthol listed as the first ingredient, which is not true for the original. So if you can find the original, it seems to me to be a better product. If not available, this is OK, but the difference in the ingredients list is not good for extremely sensitive skin types. Since I've used both, and I've purchased multiples of this one before I knew the difference, I've used my stock of this one for small gifts, stocking stuffers, and so on. There are degrees of sensitivity, so if you're trying it out, just purchase one item and use for awhile before buying multiples. That said, this product is better than most of its competitors--just not good enough for some of us.

I would have given this 5 stars but it does start out a little minty. I don't understand why manufacturers believe that I need my chapped sore lips to tingle first. Once the minty tingle goes away, it's a great lip balm. Helps heal chapped lips, very emollient. Just get rid of the mint part.

I first found this product in a large chain retailer. I like to try new things, due to my lips always being dried out - especially this time of year (winter). I was very impressed. It keeps your lips moisturized better than other top brands. Of corse it may be a little more money than some others, but it's well worth it to me. My only suggestion to everyone is that I would not classify this product as being a means of lip repair, or in desperate need of major cracked lips. For myself I classify it as a routine every day lip balm.

Best chapstick you can buy, price higher than your local Walmart though
