I bought this for my daughter who wanted it to replace a bigger, heavier SLR camera that she had been using.She tells me that it’s a great camera of perfect size and weight for portability. The quality of both the picture and sound is on a par with the SLR and the battery lasts for several hours.

Compact and very clear filming.

This won't replace a DSLR or full frame mirrorless any time soon and that's not what it is intended to do. But the PowerShot V10 is a very handy tool, especially if you want something that's discreet and compact while still being a step up from your phone.Webcam functionality works well. My laptop recognised it immediately, no need for any proprietary drivers. Really useful on the go, with the built-in stand.Ultra wide angle (19mm equivalent) is a great choice for selfies, walk and talk videos, indoor photography or even architecture.The V10 is very compact so you can carry it in your pocket and be discreet when out and about.The 1" sensor is a bit of a compromise, but it does produce very serviceable 20MP photos. If you shoot ultrawide with your phone a lot and are tired of the anaemic 8MP that most budget and mid-tier phones still bring to the table, this could be the camera for you.I have to say there are some limitations. Autofocus is a bit of a hit and miss (especially with low-light video). The handling (having to flip up the tilting screen to reveal the stand etc.) can be slightly awkward and fiddly. There is only one mode for stills (Auto Photo) and it's JPEG only. With the small screen it can be hard to get the composition right and ensure that what you want to be in focus is indeed in focus, but I understand that a bigger device would be more awkward to handle and possibly heavier as well.I'd love to see a software update enabling RAW stills or open gate recording, or even a V10 2nd Gen to include OIS and weather sealing. But even without these features it is an interesting proposition.

Convenient but I'd say it is only good for recording from front camera. Bought it to record videos for social media but it won't work for landscapes. I guess I bought it hastily. I've bought osmo DJI pocket3 now.

It is a cute camera but the battery life is not the best. It has lasted 4 hours max for me.

Simply to use and easy to get on with I’m not good with tech but this was easy peasy and gets lots of use now 👍

I use this camera for vlogging for my YouTube channel and it does the job very well. The quality is sooo nice and when I upload the videos on the editing softwares and upload on youtube it doesn’t go blurry at all, which is what my iPhone tends to do.
