Sprung Letter Plate Black Antique Cast Iron

Hello bought this product for my daughters front door and I was really impressed with the product great spring and great delivery would certainly recommend the product and company service all in all great my thanks to all the staff concerned your's Robert Robertson.

Item is nice and heavy and as you would expect. Do not buy this as a replacement letterbox tho, it is only suitable for a new door where the hole will have to be cut very carefully to accomodate the hinges and spring. If you mearly cut a slot this will not fit. I had to carefully use a router to make space for the aforementioned parts. Not on it looks great.

It was hard to install I had to cut my letter box to pieces to get it in but it does look great now

Back nuts are too big to fit with an interior cover too. It's a bit too heavy a spring for my postman's liking.The springs and levers etc are very cumbersome and a lot of door had to be taken off when I replaced the old letter plate.

Arrive late and was the wrong size did not go through the hassle of returning it just brought another one the correct size

It has to be for. A standard letter box - or replacing an old one
