Helpful Cards!
I like how the speech therapy cards come in a zippered bag with a handle on top. The cards are well-done. They are sturdy. The cards come with a booklet to explain how the cards work. They are story cards. I picked them up for a neighbor’s son who needs speech therapy. I thought the cards would be helpful for the child’s mother. It does take time in the beginning for the child to understand. Each story is short (a standard paragraph). There are questions to go with each story. There are three groups of cards, and each group has ten stories. The pictures are clear and easy to understand. I like that the cards encourage children to use their imagination. I like that the cards can be kept in their group inside the case. The cards can also be used for reading comprehension (never too early to start). Magnets are included (not sure why or their purpose). This is a helpful set of cards.

Made in China. Nice for teachers. . . parents. . .
This set comes in a nice small “tote”, which shows in the upper left corner of the current top / first listing picture. There’s a zipper opening.Three are three “series”. . . School. . . .Family . . . . Friends. You can mix-and-match the cards in the different series to create a story. These cards are magnetic, so you can attach them to a magnet dry erase board, or other metal type board. These are nice for an assortment of different scenarios. Autistic children. . . Reading. . .Writing. . .This set is Made in China. Though it shows that it’s being sold by someone in the U.S.; it’s likely that this is a Chinese company using a U.S. address.

Good learning tool
The cards are nice and think, as well as a decent size, but there is not dividers for the stories. So you have to sort them every time. I do think it is a great learning tool to teach kids how to tell stories, being able to identify what could happen next, work on speech. Etc.

Great Tool to Teach Reading Comprehension
There's a lot of reviews on this item for blocks so I'm assuming the product changed at some point. My review is for sequence story cards. The posting really talks up how these are good for speech therapy and autistic children and I can't really speak to that front but I do think they're a great tool for teaching reading comprehension. There are three groupings of stories/cards: family, friends, and school - which are three things most kids at least understand the concept of if they haven't experienced first hand. There's a booklet with all the stories and then the cards. The stories and cards are color coded to the three categories. The stories are quite short (just a paragraph really) and there's several questions per story. A lot of times reading comprehension activities focus on a normal child length book but sometimes kids have forgotten smaller details by the time the book is over, so I think this is a great way to get them to really focus on the details because they're so, so short. There are cards with just imagery for the kids to sequence to match the story too, so another way to show comprehension (and would be a great tool for any children who aren't verbal but understand what you're asking). Everything comes in a perfect sized zippered storage bag with handle (which I much appreciate) and the bag has two little straps inside to help you keep the cards divided by category. The set also comes with some small magnets; I'm not really sure what they're for as they aren't referenced in the stories but we'll use them because we can always use more magnets it seems.

Good graphics
This is a well made set of story cards. I love how many different scenarios it has, the stories are labeled on the back to easily sort them, because your kid will be giving them a good shuffle. These are sturdy enough for my 5 year old, but she is generally gentle with things; I could see them getting ripped with rougher use, but you could always laminate them. My daughter loves making up stories and she had a great time chattering about what was happening in the scenarios. This is a good set to get kids thinking about sequences, emotions and cause and effect, I was surprised at the things we found to talk about and we only went through one scenario so far. I would definitely recommend this, it is a good value for so much content and I see it lasting us a while, I can’t wait to see how they play with them when her friends get together.

Very helpful tool.
I was looking forward to getting this game for my child who has some speech delays. He still has trouble re-telling stories and answering WH questions and struggles recalling events. I know by continually playing with this he will get better at figuring out the sequence of events. I like the thick laminated picture cards and how it's color-coded on the other side with the corresponding titles so that you can follow along on the workbook. I like that we can use this just by itself to illustrate how each story unfolds. We can also learn to use our imagination and make up our own stories and come up with our own Who, What, Where and When. I absolutely find the questions on the workbook very helpful because this is where my child struggles the most. I had to change some of the wording of the questions and simplified them so that he could understand what answer we're looking for. Overall I am a pleased Mom because anything that can help my child develop his language and comprehension skills is a winner.
