The stainless steel platform is easy to wipe clean, which is a definite plus after dealing with sticky ingredients.The accuracy seems pretty decent. I've tested it against some known weights, and while it's not perfect, it's certainly accurate enough for my needs. The tare function works well, allowing me to easily weigh ingredients in bowls without having to do any math. I’ve found it particularly useful for measuring ingredients for bread making.However, there are a couple of things that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars. First, the display, while clear, can be a little difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. Also, I am not really liking buttons, sometimes, it doesn't register my press, which can be a bit frustrating when I'm trying to quickly tare the scale or switch units. The scale is okay, it gets the job done.Ultimately, this Food Kitchen Scale is a good value for the money. It's accurate enough for most home cooking and baking needs, it's compact and easy to store, and the tare function is a time-saver. The scale is perfect, it’s simple, light weight, and works great. Super simple to use. And perfect for everyday use.I had the Zwilling scale and it’s just terrible. The battery never held, it was easier to keep it plugged in full time.This scale is great, battery lasts long and it’s as simple as having a pair of backup batteries.

I bought this to track calories for my diet. It works very well, switches easily from one unit of measurement to another. It's compact, quick and well made. The only problem I've found is that if you leave the item on long enough it will start to incrementally creep upwards. Not a major problem, just pay attention to the first reading, or if you pick the food up and set it back down, it goes back to the original reading, so if you are aware of this quirk it is very accurate. I got this to replace an older one I got from my daughter and it is a huge improvement over the old one.

I use this scale to refill my Nespresso Vertuo capsules. I start out with an empty capsule(Pod) and "Tare" it to set the scale to only measure the coffee weight by ignoring the Pod weight which is 2 grams. I then add 11 grams of my favorite fresh ground, for a total of 13 grams which is the weight of new Nespresso brand pods. I use the "CAPMESSO Reusable Coffee Capsule Lids for Reusable Nespresso Pods Vertuo, Food Grade Silicone Caps for Any Sizes of Refillable Vertuo Pods." instead of the foil seals as they tend to be time consuming and my OCD will not allow me to have a seal that is less than perfect. YMMV.The scale has back-lit LCD screen with large fonts for easy reading and is not too large or too small. It's surface is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel.
