Exactly as described, and works a treat!

Solid build quality, easy to install and works like a dream. I have used this exterior socket with timer to operate some led string lights in the garden, works treat and is so easy to programme the manual timer (Same as the ones you sometimes get on a boiler. Altogether very happy withmy purchase.

Initially the timer was unreliable, this was found to be the timer sticking, the unit was replaced and the replacement works fine.

This is a good piece of kit. Using it for the garden pond feature. Simple to program, you might need an electrician to fit to main power.

This product does not work. The timer sticks at the time it is due to turn on. Many reviewers have reported the same issue. Amazon should have this product withdrawn; this is the second unit I have had that has done this, and it happens within a day or two of installation. Do not buy this product.

Very pleased with item. Dies as described but would have been good to have had an offer switch. Unfortunately need to remove plug from socket or cancel and then reset timer which is a unnecessary faff in my opinion when a simple on/off switch would have been easier

I purchased this to control our garden lights and it does a great job. I also put a photo electric cell into the circuit so that you have more control i.e. the poser goes rom the timer to the photocell and then this decides whether the light is dark enough for garden lights to turn on. The timer has three setting of on; off and timed and that is very useful. Also if you turn the timer off then turn it in the lights come on momentarily so this allows you to check whether you have wired up correctly. Very good quality, very weatherproof and bvery easy to wire up. Highly Recommend

Purchased one of these units about 6 months ago and it was simple enough to setup from a wiring and timing perspective. Worth noting that the instructions advise you set the timing pins then move the dial to set the current time. In reality it's easier to set the time first, then set the pins when you want it to turn on.Anyway, I've been using this for 7 hours a night to charge a hybrid via a 10a granny charger and the charge rate has gradually declined from 2.2kWh to 1.4kWh, to breaking completely. Seems it's not robust enough for sustained heavy loads unfortunately (even with 3a of headroom).
