The adhesive on this product isn't enough to keep it in tact. I exchanged the first one thinking it was a defect. However..... A few days later, the replacement item also had the middle start to detach from the adhesive. The adhesive is just not enough to keep it secure if the couch arm isn't wide enough for it to sit flush.Adding a star to my rating for customer service support. The vendor was very helpful and responsive. Hopefully they will be able to resolve the adhesive issue and make it so the arm rest stays together. It really would be worth it. Upgrading to 5 stars. Tried on a different sofa and it works as it should. Just needs a wide surface for the proper functionality.

Very much like, use on couch armrests.Solid, fit perfect. Easy to fold and move. Looks great.

Product is very satisfactory. The only problem is it hurts my elbow because it is wood…I wish I had thought of that before purchasing.

I use on a reclining sofa with big round arms so I love that it adjusts to whatever shape the arm is.

I bought this to give myself a place to put my phone, as our armrests are on the more narrow side.Unfortunately the width of our armrests are slightly smaller (less than an inch) than the width of the main panel on this tray. Within 24 hours the felt had completely separated from the bottom of the tray and rendered this pretty much pointless.The item arrived with dings/blemishes to the painted finish (all of the white spots on photo), which was disappointing but I overlooked because of the price point.Also, the 'phone slot' that is supposed to be able to prop your phone in it is worthless. It will not work for any phone with a case on it & without a case it's not deep enough to allow the phone to stay put.If you have wider armrests I'm sure this would work fine.

We have now ordered several of these. They act as a small table on the couch or used over the arm. We also use them on our boat on the couches. They are terrific protectors and make great little spaces to put out snacks .

Starts falling apart very quickly, the top black part started peeling off and other pieces coming off. Not worth buying!

As others have stated The armrest looks nice at 1st glance BUT less than a week with barely any use, the adhesive on the back is weak and caused the felt lining and wood to separate ;-/ Very disappointed!!
