VocoPro DA-1055 Pro Professional 6 MIC. Digital Echo Mixer/Parametric Equalizer

I've only tested it out but it's easy and has great sound quality. I have a Mackie mixer and the reverb is not quality D.C. Is not as I thought it would be this little box is great for vocal quality. It's easier than my other high end mixer to use.

i got the vocopro eq 3 weeks ago, connect it to my voco pro mixer/amp , the EQ work really nice ... love it....

Quality does not seem to be a part of VocoPro's vocabulary. This is the second Vocopro mixer I bought in the past three months, both were miserably defective out of the box.The mic pre-amps were functional and boosted microphone sound, The mic sound was clear at low volume. However, the mic sounds became extremely distorted at moderate volume levels. I tried to compensate by turning down the mic EQ nobs, which worked (though it seems only becuase that was only effectively decreasing volume). Useless for karaoke.Regarding the left and right EQs, the backlighting was not uniform - some parts bright and some dim. This was not a big deal for me personally, I just care about the sound. What was a concern was that toggling the EQ on and off on the right side EQ cause an extremely loud pop , even at very low volumes, each time I switched to on or off., at my right speaker (hopefully no speaker damage).As I continued to test at very low volume, my Amp was blown. The amp has a circuit breaker, but I can not reset it, maybe due to some internal damage.I have had a good vocopro mixer back in 1999-2005 - 6 years of frequent, yet dependable use with no problems. But VocoPro seems to be hit or miss on Quality. Frustrating, waste of time, and seems to have damaged other components (the amp) of my system. Will attempt to return this now.

Given the relatively positive reviews listed here, I believe I might got a defective item:1. Although the Repeat and Delay functions work, the Echo doesn't. No difference when we turn the Echo effect knob, even to the maximum level.2. The music EQ tuners add high level of noise in to the output. The idea to have the controls is good. But the output is simply too noisy.

The unit I got has following issues1. Low volume noise, especially noticeable when not playing any content2. Some control nobs such as repeat, delay etc are not very effective

I was actually looking for a way to have a low cost way of setting up a karaoke system using this and my ever trusty old Pioneer home theater, and this did it! For the video part, I use Karafun that runs from my computer that hooks up to the TV via HDMI. Then for the audio part, I use a Sound Blaster external sound card which connects via USB and outputs to this. The mics go straight into this as well.Very good performance so far. I'm loving it!

Connect this mixer to my stereo power amp with 150W/channel and it sounds perfectly. If you are looking for a home mixer karaoke, this is the great one that you should have.
