I am new to the bread-baking world and this kit is all I need for my upcoming sourdough endeavors! I have been learning to feed a starter that was given to me by a friend and just trying to master a ratio that works. I can't wait to use the bread proofing basket and the designated tools for the process. It comes with a lined basket, a nifty flat whisk thing (told you I'm new), razors to cut designs in the dough and a brush for the calluses on your heels... or the bread basket to clean the dough off- you know... whatever helps you bake bread better. This was packaged wonderfully and my mother in law who is an avid baker was impressed by the value of this product. Once I overcome the trepidation of making a loaf, I will post pics of the final product!

been baking sourdough breads at home for a while and tried a few different baskets, but this one’s easily my favorite. The basket itself is really solid, doesn’t feel cheap at all. Love that it’s smooth (no splinters like other ones I've tried) and dough never sticks.It comes with a bunch of stuff—liner, lame, whisk, scraper—honestly more than I expected for the price. Ive ended up using the whisk a ton. Dough comes out perfect shape every time and has those really nice spirals you want from a banneton.Cleaning is super easy too, just knock out some flour and let it dry out.overall super happy, highly recommend for any sourdough baker beginner or not.

This order came with everything as described. I love that is has linen and linen cover for the dough to rise.I haven’t had the time to use this but I sure will this weekend.

Just as advertised. Everything that’s needed to get started. I was gifted this some years ago and started my sourdough journey….this one I sent to my niece who has just started her own sourdough journey!

As a sourdough novice, I had none of the “tools”. I have serviceable alternatives in my kitchen, but the bowls I used for proofing didn’t seem to work very well - though that could be my lack of experience.I ordered this kit as an investment toward my success. I was worried about how light the bowl seemed, but it was strong enough to hold the dough without breaking. The removable liner comes on and off easily but stays put when holding the dough. It washes easily - I hung it up to dry. It doesn’t keep the flour completely from falling through to the bowl, so I did need to gently brush the bowl a little, rinsed it, and air dries it thoroughly.The mixer has a comfortable weight to it, as well as the dough cutter. Both seem pretty well made.The lame needs to have the blade put on it, and though it’s sharp, it took more effort than I expected to score the dough.In all, I’m happy with my purchase. It’s good for a starter set.
