Promogran Prisma Matrix Wound Dressing - 4.34 sq. in. - Single Dressing

I bought it to have extra, and ended up putting some in my first-aid kit.

This product is a relatively novel wound care product. I had a stubborn wound that would not heal. At the very least, it has made managing the wound much easier, since it can be left in place up to 7 days according to the directions provided by the ,manufacturer. It is too early to say that the wound is 100% healed, but it appears to be making progress. It seems to be a great product for deep or tunneling wounds. If accidentally left in the wound bed, the manufacturer reports that it is bio reabsorbable. It supposedly can help modulate the healing process by absorbing certain things called matrix metalloproteases, etc. Silver ions provide antibacterial effect as well. It is not covered under insurance, but might be worth paying for!

This is a god-send. The wound tech used this on a severe cut that I had and it healed the wound quickly. This product is unknown by most medical people but I don't know why? You only use a tiny piece and it doesn't have to be removed.I have very very thin skin and get injured easily. This has saved my life.

HELP. I ordered 2 of these excellent items based on successful use of them for my wife at our local Wound Center.Only 1 of the 2 units ordered was just received. I looked without success for a way to bring "an item missing from a package" to your attention.My wife opened the package when it arrived and didn't know I ordered 2 units until I asked her just now.PLEASE SEND US THE MISSING ITEM!!!!!!

Fantastic product. A wound care specialist introduced me to Prisma and it is helping heal my long-term pressure ulceration in my foot. Nothing else worked. Buyers be aware only ONE wafer is in each order. You are NOT getting a box of TEN wafers so this product is extremely expensive and not covered by most insurances. That being said, what is your health worth? If it works it's worth the price!

ThievPrisma Matrix was used by my doctor on my ankles when I had opened leg ulcers for 15 years . The new doctor that I was referred to used the Prisma Matrix on my ankles for 4 moths that's when my leg ulcers started to heal as of today my leg ulcers are closed.

Updated: I didn't notice at first because I didn't need it but it's also highly irresponsible to sell this without instructions. Is that even legal? I'm in wound care and I only ordered this as backup (expecting a box AS PICTURED). So since my box from wound care has arrived, I took pictures of the instructions that came in my box from the order provided to me by wound care (NOT FROM THIS ORDER). There are certain types of wounds listed on there that they suggest to not to use this product for so I highly suggest you read it. In fact, don't buy this product at all without a recommendation from your doctor. If your wound is bad enough that you think you need this, you need to see a doctor first.Original: Did I really pay this much money for only one dressing? I was pretty disappointed to open my package and only see only one when a whole box is pictured. Make sure when you order this, you're aware that you are only getting one, not a box...

We order this and a Hydro Blue patch and 10/10 the Blue patch worked so well compared to this so we will be sticking to the one that works
