Why replace tile flooring when you can give them a facelift?

This stuff is truly amazing! Why spend thousands of dollars paying a contractor or even going through the hassle of pulling up old tiles to replace them when can just give your old tiles a face lift for under $100. Depending on the size of your flooring. The larger areas would probably cost less that $300. I even got an estimate on my kitchen flooring and I was quoted $2800!. That’s materials and labor of course! That’s insane! DIY!! Times are hard! Save money, stop spending money just because it convenient. But i can’t tell you what to do with your money. I can only show you what I chose to do. So i encourage you to get off your assets and DIY. You can do it! I see you smiling 😉Side note: I also purchased the dark grey paint pens for grout on Amazon.

Awesome product!! Plumber recommended!

I have an undermount composite kitchen bowl that was very faded and worn looking…as a retired plumber this bothered me but also knew how difficult replacing an undermount kitchen bowl can be…I thought I would try this product first and if it wasn’t satisfactory I could still change the bowl out if needed…I cleaned the bowl and did a light sanding as recommended…I did a coat and then put a fan aimed at bowl to help speed drying…I waited two hours or so between coats(4) and left the fan on overnight…the finish came out great with a light sheen to it and a deep black color…I even coated the garbage disposal throat with four coats and it looks great! So to update I’m two months in and it still looks great! Best 30 bucks I spent in awhile!! Also no smell was a major bonus to the whole project…I highly recommend!!

if you need a rescue from rustoleum

i had a terrible experience trying to refinish my tub using the rustoleum product so i needed an alternative. i was hesitant to use this product since there's no support or website or even much on reddit (and it seems like they make scanners mostly?) BUT read a few positive reviews on here and i'm glad i did. it's much easier to use and apply than the rustoleum and it looks really cool (if you're into a matte finish). i waited a month before reviewing to be sure i was satisfied with it. i will say, for hair color you need to fully rinse the tub afterwards and not let any of it sit. i left a spot on the tub and had to bleach it off later. but if you make sure to rinse it seems to be ok.

skeptical

I used this paint on a refinish of a patio fiberglass table 35 square feet, when I got the paint it didn't look like it would cover the table with two coats very small container only 3/4 full, I use a high quality 5 inch roller I was able to do three coats, no smell easy to work with. I hope it holds up it really looks good.

If you're reading this, BUY THE RUSTOLEUM KIT INSTEAD!!!!

BUY THE OTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have this huge, gorgeous farmhouse sink that I've been trying to refinish for like 8 months. I bought the rustoleum refinishing kit and did the sink last spring. it looked good! But then I got the idea to try pigmenting it so I bought another one of the same kit, pigmented it and pained the sink. It looked bad.I tried to sand the sink but that rustoleum kit doesn't play. I took the sink to a sandblaster, it got so much worse!!!!! I went over every square inch with a wire rotary brush on a drill. It took weeks and weeks. I filled the low spots with JB Weld steel stick, sanded and sanded, then painted with this nadamoo kit.OMFG it came out so bad. it's matte, not shiny AT ALL. The product is WATERBASED for sinks and tubs and tile?! 3 days later, if you brush against the sink, white paint dust gets all over you.I'm so sick of this project that I am just going to install the sink, but it seems so obvious it's going to fall apart. If you're reading this, BUY THE RUSTOLEUM KIT INSTEAD!!!!

It Will Do In A Pinch

I have an extensive background in residential painting and have used many different types of paint. Here are the pros: very low odor and dries quicklyHere are the cons: very unforgiving paint- shows every little thing and starts to set up too quickly so you have only a few seconds of work time/wet edge.My enclosure was in horrible shape after 50 years of soap scum etc. I razored off layers of scum that would not come off with cleansers. Then I acid washed, using the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, and sanded with a 220 pad, rinsed well and dried and then tack clothed everything. My first coat I rolled on with a 1/4" mohair roller, wanting a bit of a stipple first coat. It dried within 2 hrs. then I sanded that down with the 220 pad, vacuumed and tack clothed. The stipple did not smooth out much. The first coat was ok but definitely needed a 2nd coat.My next coat I decided to dry a foam roller but interestingly it yielded just as much stipple as the mohair. Sanded that down again after it was dry and there were still areas that looked a bit faint. So my last coat I decided to try rolling and then very quickly back brushing, knowing I would have brush strokes but I would hopefully have a "smoother" to the touch sort of final layer. And yes that's what I got.Rounded corners are tough. You have to work from the outside edge moving towards the corner but not going past mid corner and from top to bottom and you've got to move fast! Then do the back wall to the next corner and then finish with the last short wall. I did the bottom last.If you're looking for a quick drying, one-day sort of make-over that will help you to feel like you're climbing into a cleaner shower, and you're ok with the surface looking less than a professional/factory finish then it's worth trying. If Nadamoo offered a professional spray-on option this could be a winner. Now the big test will see how it holds up to actual use. Will it show every mark, start peeling and how will it hold up to cleaning?I'll probably post another review in about 6 months to let you know.
