I bought this slip in Scotland and wanted another because this is a really nice slip! Silky smooth fabric and soft with strap adjustments.However, the sizing is off because of the UK conversion. I am a size 12 US and purchased a UK16 on vacation. It fits loose, not snug and I wear it for sleeping. Nice room in the hips for me. The next size down was snug to my form and would be the right size to wear under a dress. I purchased a size Large (12) from this vendor and it was 2 sizes too small even tho measurements showed it to be correct. The tag on the garment is UK 10. So, if you are ordering, go 2 sizes up for a looser fit or one size up snug fit.

I’m 5’5 and the XL 23” falls just above my knee. I usually wear a size Large but I didn’t want this slip to fit like shape wear. I bought it for the summer heat because it is moisture wicking, and I am so glad I did. This is a terrific, cooling fabric.

The slip was tighter than expected. It’s stretchy and does fit, but not like I want it to. I wear my dresses a bit sheer and a loose look. I wear a slip so that it’s not see through. I’m not digging how it looks. It would be perfect if it was for under a tight fitting dress!
