I recommend towel drying your hair first. Then rub into your hair. You can then style your hair. Have fun!

I actually took a picture to show you how far up mine was, but it won't let me download it. Mine was approximately an inch up, which is normal because I have used several of these in the past. It lasts a long time, though! I love this product!
