Having had a water feature previously with a cable electric pump, it gave up on me and tried a solar pump, which provided a much smaller fountain effect. However after a few weeks, the stability 'straws' broke off so the pump tended to float around.Looked at options of going back to electric and this pump was ideal. Plenty of electric cable to connect up, dial to vary the pressure of the water fountain and success to secure the pump to the base of my water feature.Really pleased with purchase, good value. Recommend.

I bought the Knifel Submersible Pump 3000L/H 60W for my dad’s pond fountain, which had been running on a less powerful pump. We’re both thoroughly impressed with its performance! The increased power has made a huge difference, providing a strong and steady flow that has really improved the fountain’s look and sound. Even after 6 months of continuous use, it’s still running like new, with no issues at all. The ultra-quiet design is another big plus — you can barely hear it running. Overall, this pump has exceeded our expectations, and I’d highly recommend it for ponds, fountains, or any other water feature.

The media could not be loaded. Great pump, very effective and does exactly as I need it to do, run a small water feature. The only slight issue was the moulded plug as I needed to thread the cable through a tap hole on the old Belfast sink I was using. When I cut the plug off and exposed the wires it was the American wiring system - blue, white and green. Not a big problem, but worth pointing out.Quick update - this has been running 24/7 since installation two months ago and no problems at all. I had a bit of algae develop, so switched it off to clean out the sink and pebbles etc, so had a tidy of the filter for the pump and everything looks perfect. Back up and running again with some barley extract in the water to keep the algae at bay. Delighted with this item, really great value.

This is a great pump for my water fountain. When I ordered it, it stated that I would have a hose, as advertised in a picture and on the contents.But, when the item arrived it came in a small box which didn’t have the hose enclosed!The pump works perfectly and the durability is great. I had to purchase a hose to enable the pump to work correctly.

This is an excellent little pump, has plenty of power, perfect replacement for my water feature.Arrived on time, would certainly recommend.

I bought this for a friend who is getting older and needed to transfer his fish from one pond to another in his garden.There were plenty of submersible ones advertised on Amazon, but this one caught my eye, as it is quiet, has copper winding and can handle 1500 litres an hour. The price was also very attractive.Having now had a chance to use it, my friend is utterly delighted and said it has saved him alot of toil.

Bought to replace the original one on my water feature. While the pump seems to be really good, better than the original one, the cable is way too short. I’ve not got it working permanently yet as I’ve had to buy some more cable to extend it to reach the socket. I’ve tried it out with an extension lead. So it would be 5 stars apart from the cable length.

I tried both the 1500L/H (25W) and the 3000L/H (60W) versions of this pump, and unfortunately had to return them both. The smaller 1500L/H pump ran quietly at first, but after just one night it overheated and stopped working. The product claims to have “dry burning protection,” but when it ran without water the pump didn’t switch off and ended up breaking.The larger 3000L/H pump was very powerful, but it was far too noisy for indoor use. Again, I don’t have much confidence in the dry protection feature, since the smaller one failed so quickly.In fairness, these pumps do move water well and could be fine for outdoor applications where noise isn’t an issue. But for indoor use or if you need reliable safety protection when the pump runs dry, I’d suggest looking at other options.
