Saved 500.00
Plumber wanted about 500 bucks to fix a cracked copper pipe. Used the JB and the pipe is fixed. No leaking. Was easy to apply. Just don't forget the black elastic like I did. I just wet the wrap a bit then applied the elastic. Worked fine.

Works like advertised
Worked on my CPVC pipe. It had a pinhole leak that was spraying water when under pressure after I had cut and spliced the pipe next to it.

Strong seal, but may not work for large pipes.
Bought this for repairing broken pipes and sealing leaks. What I like • The cast is easy to apply and molds well to the pipe, providing a strong seal. • Quick-drying and durable, ensuring long-lasting repairs. • Works on various pipe materials, making it versatile for different plumbing issues. What could be better • The application can be a bit messy if not used carefully. • It might not be suitable for very large or high-pressure pipes. • The instructions could be clearer for first-time users.Bottom line: A practical and effective solution for pipe repairs, but may not work for all types of pipes. Perfect for DIY repairs and temporary fixes, but consider professional solutions for high-pressure or larger pipes.

Inexpensive repair
the flange right after my cat converter rusted out and disconnected. With the loss of back pressure I thought I blew the engine. Looking at $1000 repair, I decided to give this a try. The pipes were in good condition. I had to use two packages, a little messy to use, but the repair worked, the pipes are holding together fine. Car runs great.

Excellent, works great on 1" PVC pressurized to 80 PSI.
Finally something that actually works on pressurized lines. Sometimes it is too much work to replace pipes so this was a fast and permanent fix for a slow leak I had in my pump hose on a1" PVC line.Super easy to use, after an hour of curing the leak is gone. Love this product. Wish it came in a contractor pack of 5 or 10 since you will use the entire roll on one leak.

Complete failure. Total waste of time, money and effort.
This is a complete FAIL! I prepped the pipe to allow the epoxy putty to get a clean and good grip. I mixed the putty completely. I feathered the edges slightly to provide a good and wide edge overlap with the good pipe. Then I mixed the water into the pouch using the JB Weld Youtube video as a guide. Then I applied the tape. The tape almost immediately started to move on it's own. This is the purpose for the black wrap has to be to keep the white tape in place. Well I did that too. I did not turn the water on in an hour as they claim this is the needed time. I waited until the next day. Yes, the pipe is leaking still. And now this humongous mess in stuck on the pipe. The section of pipe will have to be cut out and replaced. What a STUPID waste of time, money and effort. I did try their marine epoxy before this and guess what? It never really got hard. You can scrape it off with a screwdriver blade. No more JB Weld anything ever again!

Different results...
I used this for the first time, after using the powerwrap brand for 30 years, and must say it didnt perform like the original. It took much longer to adhere, harden, and dry. The original gets hot, sets up quickly, and sheds water, dries in 20 minutes. This time, it took 30 minutes to set. It wanted to keep unraveling. Then it took an hour to harden. And no heat to signal that it was working. Then it leaked ever so slightly, requiring a 2nd application. The powerwrap, all I ever had to do, instead of dunking it in water, was to wrap a layer, spray it with a spray bottle, then wrap it completely, and spray with water. It gets hot, and solidofies in 10 minutes to a very nice seal. Idk if i got a bad apple, but it just didnt work like the original.

Worked so well!
Used this kit to repair a tiny leak on the pipe. It was easy to use and didn’t take long to fix. It worked perfectly and no more drips from the pipe. The tape was very secure. So glad to fix the leak without having a plumber.
