ROKA Maverick Comp II Sleeveless The Best Entry-Level Wetsuit Ever Made The all-new Maverick Comp II is by far the best entry-level wetsuit ever made. The Comp II is the fastest, most natural-feeling entry-level wetsuit on the market. It’s the perfect suit to help first-timers feel at ease and comfortable in open water, or to help budget-conscious athletes get world-class technology and performance without breaking the bank. NEOPRENE COMPOSITION Our ROKA Men's Maverick Comp II Sleeveless Wetsuit uses only the best neoprene from the Yamamoto Corporation in Japan. Yamamoto neoprene is limestone-based and has a different cell structure than the more commonly used petroleum-based neoprenes. It is stretchier, returns to form better, and offers an excellent insulation-to-weight ratio. Yamamoto makes variable performance neoprene grades, and we strategically use several different ones (for different reasons) in varying thicknesses in our suits. The result is optimized speed, core-temperature control and comfort. QUICK RELEASE ANKLE PANELS The rear ankle panels of our wetsuits use a 2mm panel at the base of the leg to help you kick your heel out of the suit in T1.  You might not notice a difference in a changing room with a dry suit, but when you are at speed in T1, your suit will fly off with the right technique and practice. Our ankle panels are heat-taped for extra durability and to allow you to cleanly shorten the leg, if customization is needed.

Well Made Suit but too much taper in legs!
Veteran triathlete. 6.0 ft 160 lb. perfect fit. Nice high quality materials and construction. Purchased for triathlon racing suit. However, the legs are so long and tightly tapered that it is a real bear to get out of. Cuffing does not help. Baby oil or vaseline required. Or you can have an orthopedist downsize your feet. In the future I plan to continue to wear Tyr Hurricane suits as they are a better value and easier to remove in a hurry. Neosport suits used to be a good training suit but quality has gone down and they crotch tear easily. jimmywaynemoocow

Works as expected
It was tight as I was at the top end of the ML size, but I got into it (with some help) and it did not tear (that was a plus). Hopefully the exercise will take off a few pounds and I will be able to get it on by myself. Once it and swimming it worked great except on turns (I need to learn to do flip turns). It would work better in open water where turns were not a issue.Provides great bouyancy and warmth even down to 70 deg (that is as it has gotten so far). Like the sleeveless as it does not impact arm movement.

Good for the price
Really well made, open arms make a great difference.

Great fit and feel
Very good fit. Great buoyancy of the legs.Natural feeling in the water and no restriction in the arms movement (sleevless).Recommended especially for not so cold conditions.

Happy with the wetsuit...just keep in mind sleeveless is not ideal for cold temps...
I really like this wetsuit! It feels like great quality and actually fits me really well (the chart is really useful for sizing). Just as a PSA though... if anyone is thinking about going sleeveless just keep in mind that it would not be ideal for any swimming in less than 60 degrees (unless you're used to swimming in that kind of water temperature.) I actually swam with this wetsuit right outside of San Francisco (57 degrees) and I was fairly cold in the arms. I honestly don't mind it as much, but just keep that in mind if you're buying a wetsuit for swimming!
