Purchased the PURPLE mattress and bed frame w/head board. It must be said.. FedEx shipping is not the best… mattress, bed frame and headboard shipped out from PURPLE in separate containers (same day). After numerous FedEx delays, each piece arrived on different trucks on different days!Assembly of the bed frame and headboard was easy (tools required were included!) once the bad was opened, the Mattress took shape. I was expecting it to have a strong odor. NOT THE CASE! We were able to use the bed the next night! Bed Frame is sturdy and mattress is supportive, very comfortable, relieved stiff back and pain. Truly a great value for the price! Would buy it again!

So there was a lot of reading reviews on purple and all other new style mattresses. We decided to go with purple bought a king from purple got free sheets not my favorite sheets. We bought new wish I would’ve selected the pillow if I had known. We love this mattress so much we just bought a queen for your sons bed and another for the spare bedroom. Hands down the best bed I’ve ever owned!!! Highly recommended for anyone wanting an amazing night of sleep and stay comfortable all night get a purple you won’t be disappointed.

okay... so this is supposed to be a Luxury Firm mattress... when I contacted Purple they told me it was a 6/10 for firmness. In my opinion it is more firm that that, maybe an 8.The first few nights were not the most comfortable. However, then I felt like the mattress "loosened up" just a bit, probably from still decompressing over a few days after opening, and I did feel like my hips and shoulders were supported a little more. However, the mattress is still a bit firmer than I like.Instead of returning and paying an additional $1,400 for the next mattress (through Purple's website, not on Amazon) up we opted for a memory foam mattress pad and it has made all the difference in the world. We still have a bit of time before our sleep trial period is up, but I am leaning toward keeping the mattress as is.

My son loves this. It is medium firmness, so not too firm. Heavy when it arrived in a large roll. Great price compared to local companies. That’s why we bought it here. Will be buying another one soon. If using with traditional bed frame you will need a box frame. I bought a 4” one on Amazon so the bed wasn’t too high.

We purchased this mattress, excited by its promises of superior quality, but from the very first night, it was a disaster. My lower back pain worsened, and my husband—who had never had back pain—began experiencing it too.We tried to give it time, thinking we just needed to adjust to the mattress and its unusual waffle-like design, but things only got worse. After a week of sleepless nights and increasing pain, we decided to return it.I started the return process through Amazon, but they directed me to the seller, Purple. That’s when the nightmare began. Purple provided a long list of instructions, including contacting their customer service, starting a new email thread, and even handwriting my name and order number on paper, placing it on the mattress, and taking a photo. They also told me I couldn’t return the mattress until I’d used it for 21 days to “allow my body time to adjust.” Those three weeks were torture—every morning, I woke up feeling like my legs were disconnected from my back, and my husband had to start using a foam roller just to cope with the pain.After those excruciating 21 days, I submitted the handwritten note and jumped through all their hoops, only to be told a third-party company would contact me for pickup. Days passed with no contact, and I had to follow up with Purple almost daily. Eventually, they claimed the delay was because the third-party company had my email wrong—ridiculous, since I’d sent them my correct information multiple times.When the company finally reached out, things got even worse. It wasn’t a professional delivery service but a junk removal company. That’s right—the $1,000 mattress we had used for just six nights was now trash. They required me to write “TRASH” all over the mattress, take photos, and submit them for approval. Then they demanded more photos—this time of the room where the mattress was located. The process felt endless and absurd.When the junk removal team arrived, they loaded the mattress onto a truck filled with discarded mattresses bound for the dump. It was shocking and wasteful to see such an expensive product treated this way. Even after the pickup, I had to wait another 3–10 days to get my refund.The entire experience was a nightmare—frustrating, wasteful, and unnecessarily complicated. If you’re considering this mattress, think twice. Go to a store, test one out, and avoid the painful ordeal we went through. This was a waste of time, money, and resources.

Purple is one of my favorite colors...now for more reasons than one. I've been sleeping on this mattress for about three weeks and it's a keeper. My old mattress was a Tempur-Pedic. Chose Purple over Tempur-Pedic because of price and I'm not disappointed at all. Wish I would have benefited from free sheets and pillows but oh well can't expect the moon can we?? I suffer from back pain and fibromyalgia. I'm 74 years old and very active so sore muscles and back pain is just part of my life to deal with. Along with using a Teeter and this mattress my pain is under control. Between the two items they keep me out of the prescription bottle!
