These work for me! I recently moved and my current apartment's tap water is horrid, it tastes like straight chlorine! Blah, so I started researching ways to purify my water naturally while keeping it budget friendly. Brita is nice but it takes up fridge space and the filters are costly over the years plus I do not like the plastic containers. Home filtration systems are probably the best bet but they are very costly upfront and require installation and I am not going to waste that on an apartment so the next best thing was carbon block filtering but again they are kinda expensive ($200 +) and take up a lot of counter space! So I wanted a smaller version were I can use my own glass dispenser and these fit the bill. I used 4 sticks in a 2 gal glass water dispenser and the water quality has improved drastically (it's not completely chlorine free but for the price it is perfect)! Follow the instructions and you will be on you way to more natural, purer tasting water. Final goodie point is that they are eco friendly and biodegradable so if you have a garden after there 3 month use you can put them in the soil to add natural carbon back into it.

I use these in pitchers in my house to replace plastic filters. They effectively take away some of the taste of tap water and give us fresher cleaner water to drink.I also love to keep one in my water bottle!

They really do work and are great for water bottles. However, I switched to a heavier filter, because I live in an old house and needed to filter out more things like metal out of my water. But I absolutely love this product as it is natural.

I love these for water purification, and they can be expensive bought in health food stores. I now have enough for three years in one purchase and it came right to my doorstep in two days!

Here’s the deal with these, I know full well that these won’t fully “filter” tap water to pure drinking water. Scientifically, it just doesn’t make any sense- placing burnt charcoal sticks in a pitcher of water without the water going through the charcoal in hopes that it will completely filter. No, that’s not how it works. However, it does effect the taste. I bought this specifically to add to my filtered Brita water (especially as the brita filter gets old), the charcoal sticks help neutralize the taste and smell which in turn makes the water taste incredibly clean. Please don’t expect this to filter and clean out hose water in a pitcher.

I love these! I have had these for months now. I just re boiled them for the 2nd time to re activate and clean them out. You get plenty to share. I have all of my adult children using them in their water bottles! It is hard to control what is in the water we drink and these make me feel a little better knowing I am doing extra to filter the water we are drinking.Seller was great, these came quickly, packaged well and with enough to use myself and to share with family. I purchased this after my water filter broke and it’s just disappointing that this didn’t work for me. I put 2 charcoal sticks in a 1/2 liter bottle and didn’t filter so as directed, I boiled it again and it still didn’t filter. Because it was not filtering my water, I decided to add 4 sticks into the 1/2 liter bottle after boiling and drying as directed and still didn’t filter. Will not be repurchasing
