First time buyer
First time purchase of Mount Vision pastels. They are large and I like that. The colors are perfect for portraits. They are soft but not as soft as I thought they might be. Harder than Sennelier...they are sturdy and not crumbly. A few did arrive broken but I break my larger pastels anyway.

Broken Pastels
I have just received my pastels and 9 out of 25 are broken. The packaging in shipment seemed fine, so why so many broken pastels? The last shipment of Mount Visions I had one pastel that was crushed and Blick did compensate for that one pastel. Also, I puchased the brown set and one was also broken. I will continue to purchase but not liking my pastels pre-broken.

Good colors
I got this to finish a portrait in pastels. They seemed to work good, though not as creamy as I would like.

Great pastels!
I love these pastels! Beautiful colors and they are very blend able colors.They are Hugh quality and last longer than much cheaper pastels. I would buy them again!

Flake easily
They came with all but 3 sticks in various degrees of damage. Poorly packed. Customer service non-responsive after two e-mails. Not happy!
