Works quite well.
I had a little rust on my table saw and on my planer. These pads worked really well, although it does take some elbow grease to remove the rust. The pads do not scratch the metal but they do remove the rust fairly quickly. I am very much satisfied with this product. I also tried using my orbital sander and putting the the sandpaper disk on top of the pad and letting it vibrate to help remove rust. It worked reasonably OK, but just doing it by hand rubbing with the pad seemed to work the best.

Great pack for all your painting needs. I just wish I knew the grit on each pad. The box only says "coarse, fine, very fine, medium, etc". I googled it to find what grit they are similar to. Easy to tear apart if you don't want to use the pad but strong enough to keep together for wet sanding. I'm a novice painter.
