I bought this bulb for my front porch because I wanted to have a security light that turned on from dusk to Dawn. I was a bit concerned that it would not function correctly because it would be affected by its own light in an enclosed space. To my surprised it works perfectly.The color temperature is good and the light is pleasing and bright enough to provide security without being overly bright.It was literally plug and play or in this case screw in and play.

Really great lights. No need to turn your outside lights in and off just let these do the work

They do exactly what they are supposed to. On at dusk and off at dawn.

Loved the lightbulb for fall and winter. But now that summer is here (Missouri), the bulb is attracting so many bugs to the front porch that my porch is covered in the morning. Will switch to something else for summer & bring it back when it is cooler. Wish it came in a non bug-attracting color.

This product is a good alternative to installing a timer. However, we’ve only had it for a week. Upon installation it would turn on and off at dusk every 20 seconds or so.nAnother time it turned off for quite a while when it was pitch dark. It has worked fine the last couple of days. We’ll see how long it lasts. I’ll have to update in a few months to give a thorough review. I would have given it 5 starts had it not had this issue of turning on and off.

These lights work in unison. No issues with the light from the other bulb affecting each other.

I was looking for a dusk/dawn sensor to use with our porch lights, saw these bulbs instead. They work great, even though they are recessed quite a bit. Don't know about longevity but they are super bright and the light sensor work great.
