The timeless Hispanic legend comes to terrifying life in “The Curse of La Llorona.” She is The Weeping Woman and those who hear her death call in the night are doomed. She creeps in the shadows and preys on the children, desperate to replace her own. In 1970s Los Angeles, La Llorona is stalking the night—and the children. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, a social worker and her own small kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope to survive La Llorona’s deadly wrath may be a disillusioned priest and the mysticism he practices to keep evil at bay, on the fringes where fear and faith collide.Bonus Content:- The Myth of La Llorona - Behind the Curse - The Making of a Movie Monster - Deleted Scenes

The Producers KILLED it!
If you love all of the “Conjuring” movies and the Legendary “Drag me to Hell”…then you WILL love this movie! Please (DO) ignore ALL the negative reviews, because they sure don’t know what in the HELL they are talking about and they are mostly unfounded. This will be a real quick review folks…I love how the producers of this movie get to the point real quick. There are really NO dry or boring areas in this movie at ALL! The movie has action, suspense, and build up. The story explains itself very well and ties up all facts to bring you to the MOST EPIC ending I have ever seen in a movie of this type… which really impressed me the most. The producers did not beat around the bush or give you some ridiculous love interest or teenage summertime trash…they got right to the point with HIGH-END (CGI) effects. In closing, I will add this small fact, the movie was very SCARY and it will play on your mind...I actually had to watch the (news) after watching this movie just to put my mind at ease. I could not go to sleep right away. That's how deep this movie messes with your mind. It will get you worked up and FREAK you out! Its scary stuff so be prepared for that! The Blu-ray quality was so beautiful, with rich high-end ATMOS sound effects! The Facts:1. Running Time Approx. 1 hrs. 33 min.2. Sound: DTS-5.1 and ATMOS3. Picture: Widescreen4. Filled with action, suspense and drama.5. Explains back story about (La LLorona) mythology very well.6. Answers all questions and ties up all loose ends with EPIC ending.7. Excellent movie, be wise…do enjoy!Thank you, hope this helps!

A genuinely scary and interesting tie-in to one of the greatest ongoing horror saga's!!
The Curse Of La Llarona is set in the Conjuring universe and of course is being handled by the likes of James Wan and those responsible for some of the other Annabelle & Conjuring movies. So, you can expect the same level of frightening jump scares and intense atmospheres the other films convey. I enjoyed learning the tale of this troubled spirit and the truth behind the myth. I had never heard of this legend before watching this and this film will not only educate you on that, but it will also scare the hell outta you while doing it!!! A great side story to an even greater saga of horror movies!!

Definitely NOT part of the Conjuring Universe
I bought this film because a reviewer of the “Conjuring Universe” said it was a missing part of said “Universe.” IT IS NOT!!! It’s a totally different “Unifarce.” This is produced by the same guy as the “Universe”, but has next to nothing to do with his previous films. (There’s a meaningless 1 second tie-in that has absolutely nothing to do with the story! Go figger?!?!) The story is weak and the acting is even weaker, (if that’s even possible.) It’s premised on a a Mexican folktale about a demon lady that “takes and kills” little, disobedient children, I.e., “go to bed or La Llorona get you!.” Now, I have nothing against folktales _per se_ , but that’s all there is to this one; it’s hard to build a movie on one brief disciplinary threat. What’s more, the kids are not even disobedient! The threat of La Llorona is never uttered during the entire movie. At least Hansel and Gretel did eat the cookies… . ‘Nuff said…

An action-packed thrill ride with humor and chemistry that only Bad Boys can deliver! The bonus X-Ray features add an engaging layer of behind-the-scenes content, making it a must-watch for fans of the franchise.
