These are very good quality straws and the brush fits nicely to clean the inside. I like the fact that the brush has a tiny plastic tip so there is no exposed metal, and it won't scratch the glass inside. I contacted the company with a question, and they called me right back - very good customer service.The teal straw has very intense color and the purple straw has a very slight tint which I would call a light lavender.Very nice product and I would definitely buy from this company again.

These straws are amazing! We love drinking ice cold drinks through large straws, however, we had to consider that our habit of plastic straw use was contributing about 400 of these little guys to the landfill every year. Plus, when we are on the road in our sprinter RV, the less garbage we can accumulate, the better.We researched our options and figured the Hummingbird straws to be the best not only for our health but also the longevity of the straw. They're beautiful enough to serve at a cocktail party, but functional enough for everyday.Pricey? Sure, but they're a good "Pyrex" type material and it's pretty darn difficult to crack that stuff. If you figure that you spend a couple bucks every time you buy a bag of 100 plastic straws, this is a good investment. No yucky metallic taste as you might get from other choices, and the size is good even for thick smoothies. No worries about leaving half your smoothie for later inside... They're easy to clean with the brush that comes with them.Lastly, we had issues with one of the straws when we first received it and customer service couldn't have been better. They were prompt, personable, and clearly love what they do. Highly recommend.

Plastic straws are usually a number 2 or 5 plastic. In many places in America, and especially throughout the world, there is no way to recycle this plastic. The average american throws away upward of 570 plastic straws per year. Now that wont be me ever again. If everyone in the world used a glass straw then we could cut out hundreds of thousands of pounds of plastic.The purple is really light in color. It's more of a tinted purple. The teal is more of a green.They work wonderfully. I love them. I keep them with me all the time. I know it says they are unbreakable, but I got a wooden chopsticks case and keep them in there in my purse.

These straws are great. We bought "Hummingbird Glass Straws Teal and Purple," and we've been using them for a month or two now. We use them for soft drinks and they work really well. They're not too thick (obviously thicker than a plastic straw, but not by an unreasonable amount), and feel sturdy. We've put them in the dishwasher in the silverware tub and they haven't cracked or chipped yet. The colors are pretty true as well, although I would say that the purple is a bit on the pink side. All in all, a good purchase, and I would definitely consider buying them again if we needed more.

Safe packaging, excellent communication. The color for the Purple Straw is accurate on picture #4. The glass is thick and rounded for safety. The length is typical of "regular" straws. Better than stainless steel because it doesn't have a metal/metallic taste. Unlike steel straws, juice will not corrode these glass straws. Very economical and healthier than buying plastic overseas made straws that may not adhere to higher standards for manufacturing.

I was a little worried about glass (would it break?) but so far they are awesome! Takes a min to get used to the thickness (larger diameter than plastic) but well worth not having to toss disposable ones away. Going to buy some for my kids!

It's excellent for what it is and what it does; however, I learned that I do not need this and I do not want to continuously wash this.

Timely delivery and beautiful product and packaging. I was really glad there was no plastic in the packaging. My only disappointment was that the real color is more green than blue as it looked in the photo. Been using my straw every day, and love the little brush, which makes it really easy to clean.
